They did that...once....worked for quite a while.

Pushrods allow modern Chevy V8s to be lighter than the OHC and DOHC engines. It also keeps the weight further down, which is what you want in a sports car isn't it? There are really no down sides to a pushrod engine other than ignorant people not getting them because they aren't over engineered. Also overhead cam

Well it's an improvement.....I guess.....

It doesn't appear to specifically say the DoE here.

They didn't have the ones with the nice interior and the air suspension though.

My aunt owns a PT, and while very boring to drive, it's not that bad of a ride at all. Also as far as I know it hasn't given her any problems throughout the time she's had it. It's not very quick, its not fun, and there's very limited space for luggage and such, but It's no where near the worst car you could take.

Well I believe Chrysler also paid back loans in the '80s, pretty sure that was before they were merged with Daimler, so they were American back then.

A black one with AC and power windows........neither of which function.

Unless they changed this since 1989, it's the other way around. The filler neck on my D350 was much bigger than the one on my Jeep.

you have to take care of the important things i guess.

Essentially, what they did, was go slow then, to set themselves up for being fast later.

In all honesty, I think this looks better than the Monte Carlo nose on the 5th gen.

Hey now, let me out before you throw away Kentucky.

Out of spec speed bumps, I've seen those. Last year the sheriff's department asked the county high school to install speed bumps, so they did. They put in 8 if i remember correctly. These weren't just big in numbers, they were literally way too big. As in big enough that Trailblazers were scraping their running boards

Ok you got me, that bugs me too.

Do people with convertibles, targa tops, sunroofs, or t-tops, twist your panties too?

-Never roll the passenger window down farther than halfway.

I like the 4.0 Litre High Output badge. Simple, to the point, and midly confusing. [not sure why AMC spelled Litre with an "re"]. Also seen with gold letters on some models.

Yeah this thing is growing on me, I think it's the interior, and the fact that it's a stupidly expensive Italian car that has a plate on the body that says "step here" on it. Can I get one in yellow?

Regular cab version came with the same 6 speed as the Viper, the crew cab was stuck with the automatic used in Cummins equipped trucks. I really don't know why unless Chrysler was worried about the extra weight.
