I think my major gripe with this episode is that it doesn't hold together all that well when you trace back it's steps after it's over. If Cooper died when his phone interfered, why does he live through the things we see during his death struggle or whatever it is? Why is the meeting with the game developer (who he

The twists in the second half pushed it up a notch for me and there are some terrifying ideas in there. Agreed on the obnoxiousness @disqus_9Zn2AubIXc:disqus of the main character, though I think you don't have to like him for the episode to work.

Season 3 so far for me:
Nosedive A-
Playtest B+
Shut Up & Dance B
San Junipero A

The title track is just wonderful. Like a lost, sepia-toned classic from Rumours era Fleetwood Mac. The rest of the album follows suit nicely.

I actually kind of admired the craziness this time, even if not everything worked. Almost every sketch could have passed for Ten-to-Oneland.

15 writers for a 5 minute video must be some kind of record.

Hmm…I liked Carrie. Everyone on that show was pretty fucked-up. It was basically a show about lovably awful people pretending to be decent people.

I think so, yes. Queens and Raymond were basically spawned by Home Improvement, just with an edge, smarter and without the preachy sentimentalism. Jim was just a knock-off of those two.

Well, King Of Queens did the dumb husband/bitchy wife routine better. That one at least found some time for snarky and amusingly mean-spirited social observations. According to Jim was just kind of there without doing anything.

This show's relentless conservatism is just ill-suited for millenial's nostalgia culture. It's deeply uncool and it can't even be made interesting through irony filters. The similarly uptight Full House at least had an Uncle Jesse and cute twins. This show had nothing, it's an empty void full of dad jokes. That was

Ouija Rings: Origins Of Evil On Friday the 13th coming next Halloween (because no one will remember the existence of any of these movies 2 months after release, so why not go all-in with it?)

Silent movies have music.

Sadly, still no silent version.

Well, the episode I've mentioned was a pretty quiet, brooding, eerie affair. It was about Gwen's quest to help a mother find her missing child. Turns out the boy was swallowed by the rift and spit back out, aged several decades and what he has seen in the rift was so horrifying that he just screams in shock and agony

People pretend like Children Of Earth was a complete turnaround for the show. Sure, season 1 was mostly silly sci-fi trash, but both first seasons, especially season 2, had their share of episodes that are just as brutal and compelling as CoE ("Adrift" is probably my favourite episode).

Some guy called Mikey Day was also cast.

The movie for sure, thanks to direction and acting. The screenplay itself not so much. Textbook example of overplotted and underwritten.

Lots of rockist and sexist bullshit in this comment section.

I'm glad this asshole's career finally comes to a much belated end.
