Im from Philly and I have heard people freak out over other cities calling their cheesesteaks steak and cheeses, or what ever. Just because your small geographic location considers something correct does not make it so. It is a lesson that the country as a whole needs to embrace.

Indoor track would be awesome.... completely impractical financially for something used a dozen or two times a year, but would be awesome. Temp controlled to perfection to truly test the vehicles.
