Wow, I like your friends! I don’t think I’ve met another soul has seen the show (seriously). And I work in LA in the film business, so you’d think they’d be a pretty aware group.

I’m not going to lie, Al Swearengen didn’t hurt the appeal of that show.

But that wasn’t exactly a hit either.

The only reason why I think the timing might not be right is that shows like Hell On Wheels (frontier, railroad, westward expansion of the US) was never a gangbuster in the ratings. (I loved it).

While I love the idea on it’s own merit, I don’t think we have the resources (money OR teachers) to do something like this across the country.
