Or you can just put aside the large tubes when they are almost empty for travelling purposes. It's not hard to judge when there is 2-3 days worth in a tube, and it takes up about the same space. Plus, no weird refilling gadget to lose constantly.

@Moonflower: Worked for me on my work computer with limited user rights.

It is worth noting that while you do need to install the plugin, this apparently does not need Admin rights, it installed fine for me on my work computer (Win XP, limited rights, installed the plugin into my instance of Google Chrome Portable).

@jktechwriter: Oh I'm 100% sure it has to do with the publisher / importer and not the author or Google. I applaud Google for what they are doing, it is the publishers and the fact that the same book may have 5 different publishers globally that is the problem.

How about petition your member of parliament to outlaw some of these deceptive tactics. Other countries have laws against many of them (the pre-printed sale tag being one that comes to mind), so why should you Americans get suckered in?
