On the other hand, if you have decided you don't want children, a laptop on your lap is cheaper and less painful than a vasectomy.

"Your Windows Live ID can't use HTTPS automatically because this feature is not available for your account type."

It amazes me the number of corporate IT departments who seem ignorant of Wake On LAN, and thus force computers to be left on for updates.

I remember back in the days of NT4.0 when this was the default. I'm not even sure if you could change it then. If you guessed wrong 3 times you were locked out for 30 mins. Annoying when it happened because you had caps on by mistake. Although from memory a reboot killed the lockout.

I have a Physio friend who was saying this 5 years ago. I'm sure this study is just an expansion and verification of an earlier one he was citing.

One thing this fails to mention is the row directly in front of an emergency exit reclines very little, so a reclined seat does not obstruct emergency access.

Ozbargain.com.au is a must for Aussies.

Absolutely. I have a ton of old games that I want to be able to play on my netbook, but cd copy protection means I can't create an image to mount virtually, so the only way to play them is to pirate them. I don't see any problem with that, as far as I'm concerned it's fair use.

I agree with @jjprdan27, the stitching on this is atrocious. I gave it my standard hard stitch and it did the worst job of anything I have tried.

Wait, didn't they sign onto this 18 months ago? I heard about it on the radio ages back, just the word was that there was going to be quite a lead time for the standards to hit the market as there are already so many phones in development.

@Michael Desir: I had issues with the Win 7 installer which I booted off a USB key (no optical drive in my Eee PC).

A few months ago I bought a brand new, obsolete, Sigma 400mm manual focus lens for my Nikon D80. Try finding an AF 400mm lens for that price. The best part is that in addition to having to focus manually you also need to calculate your shutter speed as the D80 doesn't have an aperture sense, so I learn a lot more

You probably should warn people about the copyright implications of some of these. From the Oosah website

The hype around BPA in water bottles last year was all due to a single stufy that showed there was a higher than recommended level found if _Boiling_ water was placed in the bottles. Using them for tap water, at room temp, there is so little BPA there that it is harmless.

Saying that email monitoring wastes $700 billion in productivity is like the recording industry saying that music downloads are costing them $700 billion in lost sales.
