Haha Yeah I won’t deny that whackadoo reviews are AWESOME

I don’t trust Yelp because you can’t respond to reviews. People can just bullshit away and there’s not even an option to dispute them. Like, one time a reviewer left a bad review of the restaurant I was working at at the time because we turned them away at 1:28, because we close at 1, but we’ll seat people up until…
Um, no. Aside from the fact that I entirely take public transport when on holiday, or walk/bike around, I am NOT asking anyone no matter how friendly they may seem where I should eat - one individuals idea of good food might not be mine - I definitely prefer to look up ideas online, that way I can actually choose what…
I’ve planned many trips using trip advisor and Ive never been steered wrong. So this confuses me
I have found TripAdvisor’s reviews to be pretty spot on, honestly. And they do proactively address clearly fraudulent/fake reviews.
And the gas station person is more trustworthy than a volunteer reviewer on Trip Advisor because?
When I lived in Rhode Island they sold these for about $9 a piece. I couldn’t imagine anyone going to McD’s planning to pay that much for anything unless you were in Australia where everything costs a lot. Then going to McD’s for something that should be fresh isn’t usually on people’s radar either. I have more faith…
You were in Maine and you had a lobster roll from McDonalds??? Around here (during the summer) you can’t turn around without someone trying to sell you a real lobster roll. Hell, the hot dog carts sell them like crazy. I’m just horrified.
I agree. No issues with pre-bussing, but I suppose what really bothers me is someone touching the plate or glass before asking.
On the other hand, I’m personally not a fan of having a dirty plate sitting in front of me for 15 or 20 minutes. I prefer for it to be taken away. Why does the waiter taking your plate make you feel rushed? Why aren’t you just as rushed by the fact that your dining companions are clearly done?
Does this motherfucker not understand that this is what WE ARE EXPECTED TO DO BY EVERY CUSTOMER? Every time you complain about us taking away your dirty dishes, we get complained at 500 times more for not removing fucking garbage. You OCD weirdshits.
Why the hell does he even care about his dirty but otherwise empty dish being cleared away? Why does he *want* that thing in front of him? Seriously? I have no problem with servers pre-bussing. I always figured it wasn’t to get me out the door quicker, but to increase the chance I’ll order dessert and give them an…
My thought exactly. This seems a lot like someone on a small budget trying to get food for the week. Or he’s secretly a bird and he flies back to the nest to puke it up for his babies.
Apologies for piling on when everyone else has, but as a former cinema worker myself I’ll just reiterate it’s not looked on kindly to leave trash behind after the movie. The same people who work in the ticket/concessions kiosk are generally the same ones cleaning the theatres between screenings and in busy seasons it…
In my non-profit theatres, it was actually volunteers, not paid staff. Who I think should even be treated better than staff, as they’re not even getting paid to put up with that.
Only if the trash cans in your local theatre are located under the seats.
Do you expect employees NOT to clean up where they work?
I also in no way believe someone ate 5-10 pounds of food every Monday.
Yeah, those giant trash cans in every movie theater you’ve ever been in are purely decorative.
