I do not tip my amazon driver because I do not have one. Why do you think yours doesn’t need tips? Anybody driving their own vehicle needs tips. They are paying all this stuff that you don’t want to pay, and then they have to pay extra just because they are delivery drivers.

Yes. For me to take that hour and a half bus ride, I would first have to drive 20 minutes minutes in my car. I pretty much only use public transportation for jury duty.

I guess most advice is useful for somebody somewhere. I just don’t know anybody this advice is useful for. You got lucky. You couldn’t just do this because you read some article.

How much are you tipping your drivers that you only spend $150 a month. Or do you work at home or something?

You got lucky with the job and the apartment. And you still have a car. And you work in a city center. All the stuff had to line up. In the future you might be working somewhere else, and then you might buy another car, etc...

This reminds me of my little nephew talking about career choices. He wasn’t planning on choosing just one, he’d do all of them. And with three or four jobs he would have a lot of money and buy his mom stuff.  Easy, right?

People make bad choices all the time. The point was this particular advice is stupid. Most people need their cars or they wouldn’t have them. And except for empty nesters, most people don’t have expensive space that they aren’t using that they could easily trade for something else. Generally people who have good…

Okay, so if you have an extra $400 a month, don’t spend it on an extra bedroom that you are not using. Also, if you live somewhere that you don’t need a car, sell the car.

For the most part I did not like the Battlestar Galactica remakes, and I was glad to get those done with. One of the few sci-fi shows I just decided I wouldn’t bother watching anymore. I have more and more trouble taking stuff on rides at Six Flags. I think I’m going to end up sewing hiding place into my clothes. On the one hand, this looks easier. On the other hand, someone would probably call security to take it away.
