Well, I don’t expect citizenship is in the mail, but after at least six years of this I’d expect something in writing that he can stay while he applies for that. Not everybody who lives here legally is a citizen or needs to be.

I’m all for not having illegal immigrants, but I don’t understand how he’s married to an American and that doesn’t make him legal. He has a job and a family. People come here to marry people that they met on the internet and that’s legal? They get to stay and he doesn’t?
