I guess I really haven’t been there much. And I’ve liked it okay most of the times we’ve been there. But Red Lobster is everywhere, we can go there whenever we want, and we were only going to have a month or so in Maine to try something else.

I must admit to being fond of those cheese biscuits.

I think we skipped Red Lobster.

No, that is not what travel is all about. That is what you travel for. Some of us are traveling for business or because of medical reasons or because of a death in the family. Even when traveling entirely for pleasure, stepping outside our comfort zone is in no way desirable to many people.

And everybody else is speaking of their experience that it might be better to look up reviews online.

I read lots of reviews. Sometimes I read reviews of places I’ve already stayed at just to laugh at the people complaining they didn’t get their room cleaned on their second night at an extended stay place.

I remember before online reviews that a couple of restaurants nearly closed down after the local paper gave positive reviews. Everyone in the area was reading the same few reviews. So unless you’d made a note of an earlier review of a place you wanted to try out, there were usually a lot of new customers to a place

We once had some people in Maine tell us to go to Red Lobster when we asked about local seafood restaurants.

About a month ago I figured out that McDonalds had been overcharging me for large sodas. I think that they charged me $1.19, but the menu still says one dollar. So I’m wondering about that, and another lady comes and complains about the same thing. But the girl at the register doesn’t give us back what we were

I kind of think this would be like if Subway decided to have Philly steak sandwiches, but only in Philly, cause that is where people eat them.

The pie is excellent.

So, are you saying yuck because you think serving lobster on a bun with mayo ruins the lobster, or are you saying yuck because you hate lobsters?

I worked two seasons at Spirit Halloween Store, and we had to play a record with this song from open til close every day we were open.

Damn. Missed it again, and it’s too late to edit.

It’s just weird. It should be the other way. They should not make money where there is so much competition.

I guess I have not been to them (and probably wouldn’t have been willing to pay $16 anyway).

I was in Maine many years ago, and we saw these, but we didn’t eat any of them. We were eating so much seafood other places. The times we went to McDonalds we were either trying to save money or else just getting tired of seafood, so we bought lobster rolls somewhere else.

I don’t see why they don’t do this nationally, if they are going to do it at all. This would be something new in Texas. We are not eating a lot of lobster rolls in Texas, McDonalds would not have a lot of competition for customers wanting lobster rolls in Texas, and in Texas maybe we would not be so judgy about what

Is long they are asking me before taking something away, cause I might actually not be done with it. But most of the time if they have asked I probably am done with it, so please take it away and give us some room.

Like the rest of us who want our empty dishes removed should not have them removed, or even have someone ask if they should be removed, because now three people do not like this practice.
