We were in the DC area last year, and we loved Fairfax.

Minus a few cookies, this sounds very similar to lunch I might have had. More often we had peanut butter sandwiches, but it doesn’t sound that different to me. And it seems like a lot of schools ban peanut butter now, so cheese sandwich might be common.

This may not be the case in America but a running joke with kilt-wearing folk in the UK is the question (accompanied by a wink) “Are you wearing anything under the kilt?” as it’s tradition to go totally commando.

I would think that if this was something that you wanted, this would be something you’d prefer to do yourself, so that you’re getting the right thickness of bagel or whatever. And also maybe they could get their cheese or butter or whatever on the side and put it on themselves, right?

While there is this study that says half of the time if anyone stands up to bullying it goes away, I have to agree with everybody else that if you really need that job you don’t make waves.

I get it backwards too. And I have been both. Never spider man, yet.

Probably wouldn’t have mattered, since all the blacks and Mexicans actually came in and got their layaways. But good for you, cause if they did something that weird there would be more weirdness later.

IT’S A CONSPIRACY!

Why can’t they just give us a number like everybody else?

I tell people my name is Carol or my husband’s name is John. Not exactly a lie, Carol is on my ID somewhere. It’s just easier.

She’s not “the” manager, she’s a supervisor “manager on duty” or something.

But being crowded and such pretty much happens everyday at every place that serves food and drink. Seeing this sort of thing is rare for me.

I’ve never had this happen.

I can hear most of Melissa yelling, and I can hear Chen asking for a manager. I wish I could hear other people, but I can’t. I think the one guy is saying “she’s defending” something, but I can’t make out the rest.
