That is not how I remember our vacation to London in 1999. Everybody wanted tips, and most were pretty up front about it.

I always wonder how that is supposed to work. Do you fill out a form if you didn't make minimum wage per shift? For the week? For the half month pay period? At the end of the year? And then what if your boss doesn't want to pay the difference. I've not been a waitress, but I've worked other places where I didn't

I'm keeping it at 15%. The rest of us did not get paid 3% more, so why would we be passing on an 3%. The total amount of the tip is more, cause the bill for the food is higher, but I'm not tipping an extra amount in addition to that.

Yes, this is confusing. I thought that the buffet workers did not count as waitstaff and got paid at least minimum wage, so tipping was optional, or at least less money was expected. And then I found out one of the places I'd been eating at only paid their workers two or three dollars an hour. So I'd been tipping

I think you should avoid going out with guys who don't know your original recipe or extra crispy or roasted chicken preference. Cause if he can't even get that right, what else we he get wrong?

Huh?

People are allowed to be idiots who put up with crap. But when you do that, you just have to accept that the rest of us aren't going to feel sorry for you when things don't work out.

Hey, nobody made him pay for this stuff. Nobody made him eat this stuff. Nobody made him go out with this girl. If she really wouldn't date him without him doing this stuff, then she wouldn't go out with him, end of story.

Getting into a car with two men you don't know is extremely stupid. But generally, we aren't supposed to be arresting people for doing stupid things, unless they are hurting somebody by doing the stupid thing.

Well, it's not that great anymore. Or maybe it was never that great and I was just easy to impress as a kid. Anyway, it's an all you can eat place, and at first you go through a buffet line. But then if you want seconds of something the waitstaff go and get it for you.

It is a very weird comment. Maybe it would make more sense if I heard the whole speech? Not that I want to go look for it or anything. It's just weird. I've seen a bunch of white families adopting black kids on TV and movies since the eighties. Even a few in the seventies now that I think about it.

I'm glad somebody gets it.

Not a white family, but a bunch of them. So what number equals a bunch of them? It is starting to sound like a bunch of them to me, but my idea of a bunch might not be the same as his.

Nope. It's just this place.

I like it too, even though it's not from Texas.

You know, you can tell people something you think is common sense, don't do ____. But then, you tell people something you think is common sense but having to do with sex, don't do ____ with sex or don't do ____ with your genitals, and people tell you to stop getting in their personal business.

I would probably buy more of this stuff if it were at Walmart. That is, I would buy more organic fruits and vegetables and meats if they were at Walmart and cost less. I'm probably not going to buy more organic potato chips and cereal and such.

Yes. In the eighties, this was a disrespectful vest and bowtie, and maybe a jacket as well. And the company picked out all that stuff, not you.

A couple of times at school and once in a while at a place I'd worked, how did it get up there? I mean, besides why the hell would anyone deliberately make this mess, but did they bring a ladder with them to do it?

And movie theaters. I used to work at a movie theater. People are stupid.
