To be fair, the comments system isn’t what it used to be. But yeah, the buzz on this series has been sadly low, and I think a lot of it has to do with the timing. This needs to premiere in the fall, roughly around Halloween, and tossing it from February to April was never going to be a great idea. Even so, I would

Let’s not be overly critical of season two. Sure, the final episode was a mess, for obvious reasons, but we got many good things, including Puppet Ash.

“ By the time both parents are gunned down in front of Seg for crimes they did not commit, you can almost see the emotions you’re supposed to feel—Cuffe, for his part, is game for portraying trauma—but it feels more like a check mark ticked off in the Tragic Figure textbook.”

I was a bit worried about this season after the first two episodes, but I’ve come around more, and more with every episode since. I’m officially back on board.

This season has been much better than season 2. Good stuff, let’s keep the Delta runnin’ for season 4!!

I’m waiting for some artistically inclined person can make a “Brujo Especial” beer poster with Pablo’s face on it, please and thank you.

Because there’s no way he did all that publicity stuff -including nerd conventions - for the little bit he was actually in front of the camera.

Damn this was a good episode for everyone. Kelly, of course, Pablo got to be awesome, and of course Ash is in his comfort zone, facing disgusting abominations. Season’s really humming along.

I made it through about ten minutes. The fights were horrible, the editing terrible, and the acting wasn’t doing the show any favors, either.

Might have been a bit more interesting if the show hadn’t killed off main characters over the age of 40... Guess this is YA and I am not the main audience.

Wait, does that mean Gotham is worth watching? I honestly couldn’t get past the pilot with all its melodrama and tongue-in-cheek references. I tapped out once that little redheaded girl showed up and meekly said her name was “Ivy.”

When Seg and his mom escape the authorities and head out to the Fortress, the ship they are flying in along Kandor’s night skyline looked exactly like a live-action version of Batman Beyond.

I was under the impression that Brainiac went back in time so he could destroy Krypton before Superman was born.

If they really wanted to go for the whole Battlestar Galactic crossed with Game of Thrones feel, they should have set the series much farther back in the past and cut the time travel stuff.

There were some solid nods to Byrne’s version of Krypton, both from his Man of Steel run and from The World of Krypton, with a large dose of Man of Steel movie lore added in. A Silver Age Krypton full of shiny, happy technology was probably too much to hope for but this was so dour and foreboding - a bit like the

I’ll stick with some variation on what I just said about an hour ago in the season thingy. Not quite getting me invested yet, but who knows with these things. I thought I could write Agents of SHIELD off early in the first season, and that’s become one of my favorite comic shows. Similarly, I thought Gotham was going

This show really feels like it’s made to be binge watched. A half hour a week just isn’t enough.

Will Kelly end up with a robot leg or a chainsaw leg? And that little evil Ash baby is growing really fast - it looks like we will have our third evil Ash pretty soon (hopefully sticking around and hamming it up with Ruby for a while).

Can you imagine the history lesson 50 years from now? Definitely won’t include the brave black kids protesting gun violence.... Just the lily white kids “who bravely stood up for the lives of every American child and who collectively won the Nobel peace prize for galvanizing the gun control laws that keep all of us
