I don’t understand this need people feel to speculate about who might be scabbing. Just listen to the union! It’s their strike, and they will absolutely tell you when someone is crossing the picket line.

It’s out Dec 8 in the US. Reviews from the festival circuit are very, very positive.
He’s extremely open about the fact that he was a pain to work for from the start of Community. It seems like he’s gotten better over the years as he’s learned to delegate more.
I didn’t really think he was writing, or had ever done much writing for it, but I listened to the commentary on the DVDs which most people probably didn’t do.
Come on, be the best pedant you can be and spell “canon” correctly. ;)
“they refuse people” Refuse them for what? That phrase needs a modifier - it’s meaningless by itself. “refuse people entry”? “refuse people the ability to use the gas station”? Maybe the author meant “they refuse to relent” but just “refuse people” doesn’t make sense alone.
Uh oh... big yikes!
It’s a little more specific, but still a bit of a stretch. It’s that Pratt has a child with health challenges with Anna Faris, and specifically complimented his second wife saying “She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter” and people thought he was dragging Faris and his firstborn by comparison. You…
You’re a bad person, and literally everyone around you knows it.
What a truly embarassing take. Grow up.
I honestly need someone to explain to me why shareholders aren’t holding these companies accountable. Don’t the companies have a fiduciary responsibility to settle the strikes since that’s cheaper than letting them go on?
No, it’s specifically a rejoinder to “nobody liked him then or now” - an easily falsifiable statement.
It must be nice to just make up definitions and decide on your own that if someone didn’t INTEND harm, then nothing they’ve done is at all racist. That’s a really long walk to avoid any accountability for promoting hurtful stereotypes.
Ah, you’re going with the time-tested “pretending they don’t exist.” I guess that’s one way to ineptly defend an evidence-free assertion.
How is “not requiring or recommending a text” the same as “deciding on their behalf that they shouldn’t read it”? Huck Finn is one of the most well-known books in American history. Nobody is being deprived of the choice to read it by leaving it off college reading lists. They can read whatever they choose.
“I sincerely do not believe black students will be traumatized by reading the word.”
Not necessarily, could just be a poorly ordered sentence. I took it to mean “She understood right away that was needed.” In this context, “that” means “having no shame.”
The unions define where the picket lines are, and they haven’t asked anyone to boycott theaters, streaming services, or any other content distribution channels. Listen to the unions.

It’s not his show, it belongs to a whole cast and crew of people. Very rarely is TV an auteur’s medium, and Roiland was FAR from any sort of auteur.
