You understood incorrectly. “With prejudice” means it CANNOT be tried again.

“Amends enough” for what? Literally every person gets to decide how they feel about him and whether they want to give him money and attention. That’s true whether or not someone has done something wrong.

Carmy’s self-flagellating swirl of memories IS the aftermath of the opening. There’s never been anything unique or unpredictable going on in the plot of this show - it’s always been 100% a character piece. What little plot there is will only ever be a vehicle to show us how the characters think and grow and relate.

I mean... it has to drop at SOME particular time. 9pm Eastern may seem odd, but I think they’re trying to avoid FOMO/spoilers for Pacific Time - 9pm Eastern is “after work” for most of the US population.

How do regular parents have the agency to say “no” to the cabal of magical space wizards who basically run the entire galaxy? The power differential is unimaginably vast. They can kill you or manipulate you with a thought. The viewer perceives them as “the good guys,” but everyday citizens have no particular reason to

I’m glad to see they finally clarified: 2 more seasons. Phew!

Got it. Yeah, I definitely won’t be playing it until it’s story-complete.

That’s bizarre. How can it possibly be worth playing now if it’s that far from “officially” releasing?

Have they given any indication of when they expect it to come out of Early Access? I’m only able to play it on consoles, and I’m assuming it’ll finally release on PS5 around the same time it comes out of Early Access.

I can’t even tell what you’re asking. What’s the “trendy turn of phrase” in that snippet? They’re talking about how it’s nearly non-stop action, and the only moment where you can use the restroom is that single slower scene.

Every movie has the exact same PR blitz, we just don’t notice when it’s for a movie marketed outside our demographic. But people don’t talk like this when it’s a total stinker - they do the Madame Web press tour and basically apologize over and over for the movie.

Yeah, what an asshole to have JOBS for MONEY. Who does he think he is - a human being living under late capitalism?

Streaming platforms don’t do “nice.” They either cancel things or renew them. Is there any precedent for renewing a huge prestige show for only a few episodes but keeping that fact a secret? I can’t think of a time that’s ever happened. But believe whatever you want! I’m obviously not going to convince you otherwise.

If you read the actual article this is sourced from, everyone is pretty effusive. I’m not worried about it.

They wouldn’t renew their overall if it was just a couple episodes. As they’ve said, they want 4 seasons to tell the story - you can’t wrap up another 3 seasons of story in a couple episodes.

They’re not “inflatable” but dehydrated and re-hydratable. It seemed silly because they used human figures to demonstrate it, but it’s strongly implied the aliens are not humanoid at all (“What do you really look like?” “You wouldn’t like it.”). Assuming they have a totally different morphology from us, it probably

This may be shocking, but you do get to choose which shows and movies you watch and which you ignore. If you’re burned out on Star Wars, you can skip most of it and just watch Andor. If you need to catch up for something you ARE interested in, just read one of the fifty explainers that sprout up right before a new

The Hobbit movies were all hot garbage from the jump, and yet audiences barely fell off - they all made close to a billion dollars worldwide. And that one they split into THREE. So I’m not too worried about a two-part adaptation of the most popular modern musical. Paying for two films is nothing compared to the insane

I definitely like the Hedwig movie more than the stage musical. But I mostly agree with you.

Why would it flop? The good will of the stage musical will make Part 1 a hit no matter what. If either of them flops, it can only be Part 2. But I sure wouldn’t put any money on it.
