Nice strawman you built there, but literally no one mentioned legal liability. We’re calling it irresponsible and concerning, not legally actionable. In human society, we have a moral responsibility to one another - not just a legal one.

Perfectionist culture is white supremacist culture. The idea that someone must make no mistakes / never prioritize their health in order to be the “greatest” is a toxic belief we must eliminate.
You’re not at all troubled about what this says about you? That you literally need fake, made up trophies to experience any pleasure while engaged in personal entertainment?
It comes MUCH more across as players not understanding that rules exist to be broken. Great art transgresses - they made you feel something, therefore they succeeded. Expand your consciousness.
How does “not saying anything at all” constitute a message? How about instead, everyone just... gets the fuck over themselves. The more I hear from people opposed to this unobtainable achievement, the more I think they absolutely deserve to be screwed with.
They’re referencing the idea (possibly apocryphal) that if you get a rat addicted to a substance it gets from hitting a button, it’ll just press that button until it dies. In this case, setting up the juxtaposition of the rat corpse in front of the small door, and the player in front of the big door, mashing the…
Your personal experience with the UAW is not enough data to declare “unions don’t work.” In the US, unions are responsible for some of the most rapid gains in worker benefits and improved quality of life in US history.
Please point to the “winkingly playful” part of your original post. I don’t think that means what you think it means.
“Not sure how that rises to the level of a phobia”
“Police officer” isn’t even in the top ten most dangerous professions in America. It’s at least 6 times more dangerous to be a fisherman than to be a police officer, and fishermen manage not to murder people on a regular basis. So I don’t know about the whole “they’re so frightened they have to shoot first and ask…
The fact that a job is “challenging” is not an excuse to execute people, nor does it excuse the fact that cops constantly cover up misconduct, and retaliate against those who refuse to cover up misconduct. All cops are bastards because they behave worse than the Catholic church in terms of defending the violent…
I thought this episode was 10 times better than episode 1. I recognize, however, that there are many different constituencies that Rick and Morty appeals to, and they all like different aspects of the show (for example, the range that people fall into on the Roiland-Harmon spectrum). I’d recommend getting used to the…
First off: there was a narrative spine, and they literally explained it to you on a whiteboard in the episode. They made the choice to position the viewer at many different places within the narrative instead of setting you outside of the arc, observing from a distance.
Tyler could not be shamed in his most provocative years. Since shame is the only tool in the Internet collective’s toolbox, everyone just shrugged and moved on. He won by being utterly over the top at every possible moment, and never apologizing for any of it.
You’re commenting on “The Inventory” - literally Kinja’s vertical that exists exclusively to cover online sales. If you don’t like it, don’t click on a site dedicated to sales. It’s pretty easy.

It’s extremely disingenuous to compare the two. This is about taking games that would otherwise have been platform agnostic and locking them up. You’re making a bad-faith argument here.
“Criticism” is not “criminalizing” - stop being such a fucking baby about people who disagree with you.
You got it backwards. If you set a movie in a specific community, then cast people specifically to make that community look WHITER than it actually is, THAT’S racist as fuck. How is it possible you’re so ass-backwards confused about colorism?
Ah, so colorism is “fake news” - that’s your take? Thanks, Trumper.
It honestly comes across like people in charge haven’t even *heard* of colorism, which is obviously bullshit. They just didn’t feel like talking about it during casting or production.
