I get why someone wants a tablet - I just don’t want mine connected permanently to a keyboard and trackpad. I have a tablet AND a laptop, and there’s no way drawing on the tablet is better if you make it more than twice the weight and way bulkier...

That’s true, but I’m much more interested in the large collection of games you can play sans wire with the Quest. I don’t own a PC that could possibly run Half-Life Alyx, so it’s a moot point for me personally.

This list is a bit flawed as it downplays the very real qualitative difference between wired headsets and the Oculus Quest. I don’t think I could ever go back to wired headsets now that I’ve used a wireless one extensively - in my view, it’s a far more important feature than having the best refresh rate.
