When he successfully follows the ship that outwitted the entire imperial fleet, yes he gets kudos for that.

A bit more complicated than that,
The trials largely focused on the template in France. Germany, Spain, England, and Scotland didn’t persecute or didn’t go out of their way to persecute, mainly due to their value as a fighting force, especially in Spain.
I generally agree with you, but we have to remember Tuchmann got a lot of hate just for not being an academic. Case and point, none of what is cited here in regards to templars is wrong and I’ve read plenty of great books on the templars. As with most history, you shouldn’t stop at someone like Tuchmann, but find more…
They did some good during the crusades, but their lack of vision and some political blunders were their downfall. The knights of st John successfully transitioned to a maritime force, a much needed one at that, and thus solidifying their role in European politics.
Many historians think, at least in regards to Philip, that this was done on purpose. He took out several large loans from the Templars mainly because he had no intention of paying them back.
Frustrating for sure, since that argument works against creationism too. Not to mention, they can’t explain why human remains have never been found with that of dinosaurs.
we live draft every year. Plus you can also live draft and have everyone bring a laptop/ipad so it is seamless if you do have out of towners drafting as well.
As I mentioned in your other post, this gives me hope we see a Blademaster soon!
I would be happy with Grom as BM...or Lantressor of the blade.
Definitely like all these additions. Now that we have Rexxar, can we please get a blademaster? The BM was one of my favorite heroes from WC3 and I think there are some cool things they can do with the character.
I can only imagine what was going through that guy’s head after all this happened. Probably- “Oh man...Bo Jackson? Ya I almost got fucked up.”
This was my initial reaction to imagining Bo breaking up a team fight:
going with to your death sentence reference, a history prof I had in college cited an instance in a British court where a criminal could choose execution or Jamestown, he actually stuck with the execution. A dire, horrible existence for the early settlers for sure.
Me too. I cheered it on as if she were jar jar binks.
I finally watched nosferatu a few months back on Netflix, and damn did the guy that played nosferatu kill it. It is quite telling that someone playing a Dracula rip-off in a silent film from the 20s can still send chills down your spine.
beat me to it.
I agree. Not playing chess against the person you’re boxing defeats the whole point of the concept and really invalidates this article.
You seem to have absurdly high expectations for movie posters.
Jabba the butcher?
