Have you checked the research, looked at the evidence for the efficacy of owning a support animal? Are there significant differences in the long-term use of one over, say talk therapy and/or medications? Is there a more cost-effective way to help with the mental illness? How the animals being trained, what are they…
As a clinical psychologist (with a physical disability at that!), whenever I have an intake who asks about getting an emotional support animal, my eyes roll so far I am a little worried that they will get stuck and I will spend the rest of my days staring out the left corners of my eyes.
No joke, I knew a guy when I was a teen (about 20 to 23 years ago) in Louisville, KY working at a movie theater who did this exact thing. His name was Justin, and he was an... interesting guy. I see bourbon in your name, you wouldn’t happen to be in KY and we’re talking about the same guy?
Well we somehow manage to have a military budget that is higher than the next 7 countries combined, we don’t pay to provide healthcare to any citizen unless they are very poor and/or disabled, and we pay to send the president golfing every weekend.
I think we can find the money somewhere.
Sure Mueller is old, but I think he is being evasive mostly because A. he has stated that everything he would testify about is in the report multiple times and does not feel the need to give an oral report, and B. some of these questions are so terribly worded with double negatives and the like, and being the good law…
Most of the lies I heard were of the variety to make me shut-up and behave. My favorite now, looking back, was that if I didn’t behave my mom or older sisters were going to drop me, or take me back, to the Indians.
My aunt and later mother both used Ancestry, and they found that before their father settled down, he (probably) unknowingly had a child with a Korean woman. It was a surprise to the whole family, and my aunt and mother contacted them and made a trip from Kentucky to California to visit them.
They are good people,…
I once bought gas from a Marathon Gas Station, and probably picked up some beef jerkey as well (for the protein).
I work as a psychologist in a counseling center at a D1 university (in Texas no less) and have had several football players over the years as clients. The pressure, anxiety and scrutiny these players feel is absolutely unmatched by almost every other client (architecture and law students come close). Then the mental…

Hey now! While many Texans fans are in fact insufferable, there are some, like me, that are bordering on mildly annoying and being a jerk.
I’ll take Tekken Tag Tournament over any other Tekken game.
You do know that $36K a year is a joke for someone college educated, that they often have student loans that they have to pay back for that college education, and that the teachers often use whatever they have leftover to buy things for their classrooms such as extra pencils, teaching materials, etc.
Speaking as a Rockets fan... yeah, this seems right.
What is this shit? A halfway functioning Hollywood couple who does some annoying couple shit (seriously, all couples do annoying shit), but seem like halfway decent people by Hollywood standards and you have to write an article just taking a dump on them and their marriage??? Why?
Hey-Yo!
Three years??? I got one of those 6 hour VHS when I was 16 and I still haven’t seen the whole thing... and I’m 36 years old.
The crackdowns by the ATC is a good point here. As someone living in TX, I actually recently learned about the ATC from a stripper in New Orleans when she explained to me why she had to keep her panties on right before she gave my then-girlfriend a lap dance (no, I didn’t ask).
With all this talk about transhumanists and transgender folks, why are we overlooking Transformers?
