The cops can only issue a punishment they are allowed to within the confines of the law. So they issued the tickets. Maybe direct your rage at the people who wrote the toothless laws.

I would argue people are far more overconfident on streets. There is familiarity in the environment that gives people the confidence to push harder and harder. If you’ve never been on a track, or you rarely do it, you’re likely to be more nervous and careful.
Oh what liberties and luxuries aren’t available to, say, someone in Canada that are available in the US?
I spent 2 weeks in Hong Kong visiting my wife’s family and doing all the touristy stuff and I have to say that without even thinking about I could live there without a car should I need to because the public transportation is so good, so accessible, and so cheap. Yes, people still drove there, but it wasn’t necessary.
To all the people that complain about taking their fast cars to tracks because it’s expensive, or too far and instead want to drive fast on public roads: this is why.
What should the cops have done? Summarily executed him? The punishment for the offences witnessed by the cops are tickets. It’s not up to them to go after the parents.
Sticking your head in the sand is clearly an option. Just don’t complain when the leopards eat your face.
What those people “who just choose to live their lives and stay out of it” don’t understand is that we live in a society, and when you buy a product that is enriching a man who platforms neo-Nazis and other human dregs while also funding political candidates, they are not staying “out of it.”
Burying power lines.
“If you’re interfering with somebody who’s trying to get the power back up, you’re not speeding up the process of getting the power back on; you’re slowing that process down,”
Ford Escort Wagon and collector car is not something I thought would be in the same sentence.

“I see nothing in this article that makes me think the dealership did anything negligent or intentionally wrong, story is about a loser of a human being intentionally criminal.”
The way you wrote that seemed like you were saying it’s a Kia dealer.
It was a Chevy dealer.
He’s just doing what Ted Cruz does - go on vacation. Although, I don’t think acme64 does it while his state is in the midst of an emergency and then has the audacity to blame his kids when he gets called out for his terrible leadership.
And just what does a Soviet propaganda poster about the importance of industry in Ukraine have anything to do with Russia invading Ukraine?
Did Russia invade Ukraine or not? Simple question.
Nation building war? You do realize Russia invaded Ukraine right?
You’re reading way too much into a sentence. Apparently saying a commonly uttered phrase of (conveniently) blaming your spouse for something means they are in a controlling, abusive relationship and are essentially slaves to their will.
