Poor people suffering and rich people thriving in economic downturns has been a feature of humanity for far longer than central banks have existed.

Companies can always manipulate their financials to look like it’s a bad year. They can literally make it so it’s never a “good move” so your entire premise is absurd. It is also quite frankly, fucking stupid, to suggest that in so-called bad times the workers should just shut up because the workers are the ones who…
Condos are not apartments. Condos by design are meant to be owned by the person living in it. The fact that condos are being rented out like apartments by speculators and landlords is part of the reason why housing is expensive in many regions.
An apartment is a rental property by design. Condos and homes are designed to be owned by the people living in them, not to be bought up by speculators and landlords. Speculators and landlords can have all the apartments they want.
Can’t wait for all the anti-union chuds to tell us how this is all very bad actually, you know, without actually giving any logical reason as to why other than socialism bad!
Everyone should be banned from owning more than one single-family home.
ML algorithms cannot classify anything without something teaching them how to classify something. That’s what training sets do.
So after ML creates these abstract images, how is it going to classify them? Because you can feed an unlimited amount of images to an algorithm, it is not going to know what it is until it is able to classify them, so an ML algorithm intuitively iterating itself into photorealistic quality is literally impossible.
“But the process of machine learning versus human learning is not fundamentally different.”
That’s because AAA games are directed to generate as much money as possible. NMS is not a bad example, AAA games are just an egregious example of extracting money from their customers. The reason why NMS gets post launch sales is because they’ve added content for free which draws in more sales. Absolutely zero reason…
“But the thing is DLC’s actually do provide a service to gaming as it does allow developers to sustain video games well beyond their launch—horse armor be damned.”
Blunt force trauma to the chest can cause cardiac arrest. As Hamlin’s cardiac arrest occurred right after a tackle, it is not out of the question.
“Not really, a lot of their income - as well as the company they work for’s future financial stability depends on sales royalties.”
Can you point to this Harvard study/survey?
Of course, I was just addressing the point that the OP made. The continued success of HP means the continued relevance and platform of Rowling.
Saying that you don’t care Rowling’s views is no different than sticking your head in the sand. If it’s the choice of phrasing that you disagree with, sure but it doesn’t change the point.
If Rowling is not a variable for you, that’s your prerogative. But it is to others, and to dismiss their opinions while giving yours an aura of rational adult decision making is some bullshit.
“But to the 99% of normies who make up the HP fanbase, and also companies, theyve never heard the term TERF in their lives, they have a fond nostalgia for the worldbuilding, sights, and sounds of the HP universe, and that’s more or less the end of it.”
“I’m not sticking my head in the sand. I’m paying attention to the variables and making a difficult choice, like an adult.”
