“Old enough to vote”
This is a very obvious, Tomato-esque troll.
I had a 2002 Outback. When I picked up my date she asked “is this your mom’s car?”
People do realize that this group couldn’t give less of a fuck about ethics or integrity and is just another lame gotcha attempt because Coke spoke out against right wing policy? Coke’s employees weren’t a part of Kotick’s toxic culture. If this group actually cared they would calling on the board of ActiBlizz to do…
Earlier than that. It was coined by petulant asshole Milton Friedman in a NYT op-ed in 1970. And of course the boomers just ran with it and fucked everything up as usual.
I’m not being pedantic. What I’m saying is that a corporations reason for being isn’t solely to enrich their shareholders. Only in the last 40 years or so has the maximizing shareholder return ethos been so prominent, and it is slowly going away.
Hopefully he found a new hobby since vidja games clearly aren’t good for his mental or financial health.
I am not under any obligation to help the workers. That’s up to ActiBlizz and they certainly have shown they aren’t going to so I’m not going to spend any money with them. It’s a simple basic concept that for some reason you can’t grasp. This isn’t me being self-righteous, moral people do not support immoral behavior.…
“the fact that corporations’ one and only reason for being is to enrich their shareholders.”
“You’re arguing with strangers on the internet about you boycotting a company for no reason.”
Except I’m not arguing for a boycott. I merely remarked that no one is under any obligation to keep buying ActiBlizz products, just as how no one is under any obligation to support a corporation whose actions they do not agree with, regardless if the workers of said company will bear the brunt.
Fake virtue-signaling activist? Because I said I’m not giving any more money to ActiBlizz? Get a fucking grip.
Right, they’re not changing their behavior but they are occupying ICU beds. Do we deny someone who is unvaccinated an ICU bed if they get covid?
I’m just gonna ahead and respond to myself since the other David wants to dismiss my post:
Ok I’m just going to explain this once since there’s many of you “think of the workers” arguers out there.
Nah, I don’t need to wait on anyone input. It’s my money and I’m sure as hell not going to spend it to enrich Bobby fucking Kotick further.
I just don’t believe a word you’re saying. All you had to do was Google it and you would get the answer right away.
In regular game development, once a game hits alpha, that means no more features or content will be added.
“The same is true for other live service games like Warframe, R6: Siege, LoL, WoW, DoTA, Genshin Impact, CS:GO, Fortnite, etc. Do you disagree with this assessment? If so, please explain why.”
