You still haven’t established how all employees are being victimized. Sexual harassment and abuse happened to certain women that we are aware of. There’s no way to verify if the people that spoke against boycotts were victims so I have no idea why you keep claiming they are.

I don’t see the reason to listen to ActiBlizz employees just as how I didn’t see any reason to listen to Enron employees. Their employer fucked up and there are consequences to that, regardless of your innocence in the matter.

I’ll reply to you here again since you’re getting dismissed up top:

I did particularly like how the article he posted (in a now dismissed post) claiming victims of abuse were saying boycotts don’t work were in fact just one woman who was concerned about her bonus and some unnamed employees. Because, you know, those people are the victims of abuse somehow.

I’m not sure what happened to your other reply to me, good old Kinja working as intended. Anyway...

Ah yes, let’s not talk about the awful shit the company enabled because that hurts the victims more

Fuck Ubisoft.

I think you give Gamers® far too much credit - it’s not that they want to be distracted from their problems, they probably saw absolutely nothing wrong with the behavior and that women should just toughen up if they want to work in the industry.

“We made an informed decision not to vaccinate our children, but this is a very personal decision that should be made only after sufficient research, which today is within reach of every parent who seeks to learn about their child’s health regardless of their medical knowledge or educational status,” Bialik wrote at

You can’t use your “I was afraid for my life” get out of consequence card in this case.

When you combine Reddit and Twitch in any plan, it can only be sad.

I would argue that people that are active on Twitch weren’t the outdoorsy type to begin with.

Thank you for that link, that does explain the sentence.

We don’t know what actually happened, if he’s a first-time offender, or anything else. It’s likely the police raided his home and seized his devices given the nature of his crimes, and presumably didn’t find evidence he was into this generally or there’d have been additional charges.”

UK law is pretty clear on sexual assault. It is any unwanted intentional touching of a sexual nature for which the maximum penalty is 10 years. Twenty-two months is very lenient considering the victim is a child.

Fair enough. What sort of mitigating factors do you think are there when it comes to sexually assaulting a preteen girl during a drunken stupor?

It’s also an easy way to tell the show will be very loosely based on the actual books.

That is a shockingly light sentence.

Did you respond to someone? If you did your post might have been dismissed and it won’t show in the comments anymore but it will show in your profile.
