This guy. This is not my kinda guy.

You know, part of inclusive casting is playing villains too.”

Yeah, one actor who was, understandably, delighted to be invited to appear in a Harry Potter spinoff...

They consulted Claudia Kim, didn't they?

On the one hand fighting against systemic racism—including in casting decisions—is of course necessary and noble, and “stab[s] at inclusivity [that are] half-baked and inadvertently offensive” should be called out.

The right are a bunch of bullies who get off in putting others down. Everything is a zero-sum game to them, so we therefore can’t all be wonderful special people.

All joking aside, I guess what really gets my goat is any kind of 10 year long, earnest defense of a topic that really does not merit discussion. It’s really beneath all of us.

They’re never going to say anything positive about a politician or party, but their treatment of Trump leaves little doubt which side they think is the greater of two evils. (It’s Trump.) Also, while it’s not as consistent as it used to be, it’s still pretty funny.

Why do so many people hold a grudge against this show? They may have said some dubious things in the past, but I think a lot of the common criticisms of the show are outdated.

I’m only going to say this one more time.

Conversely, we all know way more than anyone would ever want or need to know about you. Too bad you can’t delete Kinja comments, so this thread will act as your shitty, pathetic virtual epitaph. Rest in hubris :^)

Nobody gives a fuck whether you are familiar with the nature of every site on the internet, because you are not a Washington Post reporter. It’s entirely reasonable to expect professional reporters for world-famous newspapers to understand what their sources are.

It takes significantly more hubris to identify with the man with the hat in that comic.

You saw their lists? You read “Fuck It, Let’s Rate Religions” and thought it was a sincere article?

Yes, your comment also reminds me that a certain subtype of nerd exists who absolutely cannot stand the idea that anyone he thinks is not clever might occasionally think of themselves as clever. Like, the whole concept of someone being satisfied by a silly joke they made drives him up the fucking wall, and makes him

If you didn’t understand clickhole was satirical after reading some of it or seeing their quizzes or lists (!!), I don’t blame you for enjoying the pandering dulcet tones of xkcd reassuring you that it couldn’t possibly be that you may not be the sharpest knife on the internet.

I love my MoviePass...

A misquote of a misquote (from Deadline) of a very different article. Great job, guys.

Occam’s razor suggests that when presented with a choice of, “a massive conspiracy involving multiple international corporate conglomerates and dozens of individual film critics caused Gotti to get a 0% rating” or “Gotti is a not a good movie,” that the latter is correct.

Hey, settle down, John. Don’t worry, everyone still thinks you were great in ‘Pulp Fiction’.
