I feel the opposite. It makes me appreciate the game far more and see how the tv series will never be as good as the 2 episodes prior to this one really highlighted. The game is an all timer while the show is good but not even the best show on HBO currently (Succession)

—It’ll be a crying shame if this show gets overlooked at the Emmys, this episode should be Bella Ramsey’s submittal

You cared enough to cry about it at least three times on this article alone.

Remember when reactionary assholes said Cara was a woke shitty character when she was introduced and only started loving her when she came out as anti trans?  Boy thats mighty convenient.

Take your meds and stop bothering the grown-ups.

If they’re so wanted by men, why are they single now?

Do they “have to?” Not really. Considering the franchise has gone 10 and 15 years between movies before and still made lots of money.

The January 24 nomination announcement instantly sparked a new conversation online, not one about the merits of Riseborough’s performance, but how her acknowledgment resulted in zero Black actresses landing a nomination, namely The Woman King’s Viola Davis and Till’s Danielle Deadwyler.

what rules most of all is that some of the most truly internet-poisoned people still clinging to the ‘had no cultural relevance’ thing have decided that it’s a full-on conspiracy theory and it’s actually not successful. something they could easily disprove by going to the movies themselves, but that would require

You missed the part where it suddenly stopped being a retread of ‘Top Gun’ and became a retread of (good lord) ‘Iron Eagle.' So yes, you missed the good parts.

They already did and it was called Mad Max: Fury Road.

I feel like Soderbergh used her best in Haywire, she was still fairly wooden but he leaned into her impressive physicality more than her acting, and let the rest of the cast do the acting.

Tom Cruise, a noted friend of the Miscaviges, was not present at the ceremony, given that he publicly disavowed the HFPA in 2021 for its lack of diversity. And as Carmichael noted, the Top Gun: Maverick star and Golden Globe nominee returned three of his awards in protest.

He & Brian Tyree Henry made Bullet Train a lot more fun than it would have been otherwise. Made me wonder what his Quicksilver would have been in future movies, had Whedon not given him the Wash-out.

Relax, folks. That wasn’t blood. It was Jeremy Renner’s hot sauce.

But everyone assured me we were getting a black, trans, autistic, quadriplegic Bond.

I was disappointed in this episode. Why would they tie up River when they’ve been killing people left and right? It just felt like lazy writing and I’m a huge fan of the show.

Top Gun: Maverick sucked donkey dicks. The story was a snooze. The action was alternatingly dull/hard to follow or unrealistic (with waaaaay more CGI than the producers would like to admit). The acting was fucking horrible. The script sucked. Why people are jizzing themselves over this movie is beyond me.

I give this site a lot of shit these days (mainly directed at the G/O Media execs and the Newswire writers shitting out their terrible “please be outraged at this innocuous thing!” articles) but I gotta admit this is my favourite 2022 films list I’ve seen so far. Really good selections, but there’s one notable
