Was it me, or did Holden lose some weight since last season? Dude doesn’t look well. Maybe I forgot something, but it’s been a while since they were fixed up from the Radiation poisoning.

I have liked many of Krasinski’s choices as an actor, and while I haven’t seen A Quiet Place yet, everything I’ve heard has been good, so bravo. Onward and upward.
Perfect isn’t the standard, safe is.

Loading up History of English now. It’s going to be a raucous time at the movies.

The Meg looks thoroughly adorable. Any chance I’ll be able to fast forward through the dialogue and exposition in the theater?
Nope...fortunately.
Black light, she says you can find little bits of excrement near seams and boundaries (where bed and box spring meet, upholstery/seat bottom etc).
Well, they’re way ahead of the US now. No term limits, restrictions on freedom of expression, a surveillance state, and control of the press. Plus they have a wall, and I heard it keeps all the Mexicans out.
I actually meant “recognition” in the form a statue of some kind, or at least a nomination. Though now that you mention it, they may have gotten all the recognition they need :)
Miao Yin carries a special flashlight with her wherever we go, and doesn’t sit in a movie theater chair, airplane seat, or set foot in a hotel room until she’s satisfied they’re free of these little shits.
The biggest question is whether or not the Expanse survives - they’ve sunk a ton of money into it, and it’s not delivered the viewership they were hoping. Not sure how well it’s doing overseas or if that’ll ever be enough to support it, but we can hope that word of mouth and wider press coverage will push them over…
I was a little apprehensive early in the season when it looked like it was just going to be some trite “magical quest” driving the narrative. I could not have been more wrong - this season was just so astoundingly good.
Ooh, ooh, me, me, me, can I pick?
Sounds like Fox execs are doing the same kind of backseat driving with the X-films that WB execs have been doing with the DC Films. Good luck!

I had a thought, that producing a season of TV where the story makes sense past the first 5 episodes and where the characters are actually interesting would be a great strategy, and I’ll bet you could do that for a lot less than $1.5 billion.
You have to admit the NRA are good at what they do, which is drive their base into a froth and furor, convinced that some great mass of powerful people are just waiting to pounce on - and annihilate - the poor defenseless second amendment. And take our guns.
Oh that lawyer. Oh wow.
