I watched eight minutes of this and got a very strong "this isn't going to get any better" feeling. So I came here to check the review, and I'm glad I did.

What's great is how hilarious this is to read in this era… 20 years ago you'd hear people sharing similar sentiments with a completely straight face.
Unlikable is fine… but then a character needs to be interesting. This one really wasn't, as much as I enjoyed the performance by the actress.
Were we watching the same The Thick of It? I found pretty much all of the characters likable.
