I hate Rain-X. Once it is applied, you are more or less committed to using it for as long as you keep the vehicle. Otherwise, it just causes smears when it needs to be reapplied. I'm not sure how to remove the film without sandblasting. When it is fresh, it works well. Just be aware that you might as well buying

That's not how airplanes work, though. You need sufficient airflow over the wings to get lift; if you don't have it, you're fucked. Pointing the plane's nose upward won't help.
