FWIW, anecdotally, I’d also done very little of those things before graduating from college and starting my career. Growing up, my family was all about East Coast road trip vacations.

Why are we slideshowifying and then republishing 6.5 year old posts made up entirely of commenter-derived content?  Is this a new low for Jalopnik?

Imagine a company in NYC said to a foreign billionaire “sure, we’ll build your playtoy, don’t worry about the Statue of Liberty in the way, we’ll deal with the logistics of getting it moved aside for a few days”. Americans would freak the fuck out, but their wrath should be directed at the American company that made

So, this is basically an ICBM that carries passengers and does SpaceX’s vertical landing trick?

In this case, where someone is reclining onto the rearmost passenger on a 2-hr flight, I’m inclined to agree with you.  On a flight that’s long enough that most passengers will try to get a bit of sleep, I’m on Team Recline.

I’d take the $1500 bonus and fly coach. But my employer wants me to be a functional human when I land, so the expensive nap is worth it for them.

And Jeeps, and Vipers, Chrysler 200's...

Further on in the article, there's some details on the Israeli task force. There was a team assigned to the task of destroying all the Migs at the airport to prevent the Ugandan air force from causing any trouble.

Hatchbacks are actually getting pretty popular among small cars in the USA. Probably 70% of the Focii I see are hatches, and 30% are sedans.

Seriously, their melted plastic is all over that adjacent space. They should've been towed for that.

Those sneaky buggers changed the title on you, making your comment look silly!

When was George Mason in the Patriot League? I thought they were just CAA/A-10. They were certainly not in the Patriot League when I was in school.

I'd be confused about how to sell that as well.

Obviously, the people bicycling on the path were not working. They may well have been on their way to/from work, though.

That was adorable.

Ideally, they could have found somewhere other than a bike lane to do their photo shoot in the first place.
