And people are really, really good about rezzing people, which is nice.

You haven't tried crafting? It's a lot of fun imo; and if you use the "discoveries" tab you can learn new recipes from that and you get bonus exp for it.
Th Elder Scrolls: Chinese Child Labor?
When for PC this?
An idea popped into my head. Have an "easy" difficulty, but start the player in Sen's Fortress as a punishment.
The entire point of the game is its difficulty. Like memorizing Megaman screens, the game expects you to fail and then learn from your mistakes/ignorance. Take that away and it isn't Dark Souls. Also bonfires are not that far apart, as a result you're able to save your progress fairly easily so a lack of time isn't…
TEMPORARY BAN HAMMER. I dunno, it just doesn't roll off the tongue.
"I've lost count of the number of times in those games when I nearly walked away entirely because my progress had been stopped by a mission that was too tough..."
The only problem with Dark Souls getting an "easy" difficulty versus another title is that the entire marketing campaign was based on the game being difficult. I mean the DLC was called "Prepare to Die"; and every piece of press for Dark Souls and Prepare to Die Edition focused on how challenging the game was. IMO,…
Warner Bros. owns the rights to Tolkein's IP and not the family? How the hell did that happen?
I dunno man, if Apple can have a patent on rounded edges, that doesn't seem too far fetched. That is, of course, if Sony actually has patents on the PSP/Vita design
...but what does someone who doesn't really understand computers do when they get their machine put together and finds out it is having some cryptic kernel panic/blue screen problem...
I agree with you, but then I built my rig (as I assume you probably did) so I'm a bit biased. The reality as I see it is that some people are kind of intimidated by building a PC. I think people get in this mindset that computers are some big mystery, when in reality they're made up of like eight parts that snap…
Oh man I wish I had anything more to add to this discussion other than "AWESOME!" but I don't so...
Well I have to say, there are a lot of people out there a lot smarter than me looking into this kind of stuff so I wouldn't be surprised at all if most of this was true. I don't trust the dates so much (since dates always seem to change) but it would totally make sense to debut with HL3.
It's probably one of the most atmospheric and rewarding games I've ever played. But yeah, it's really hard.
I would really love to want to play this game, but I bought the collector's edition of FF XIV when it came out the first time around. So, fuck Square.
Well that sounds close enough to plausible for me! Looks like I'll have to do some detective work on that (and by detective work I of course mean lurk 4chan and reddit).
But honestly, if the story isn't written by you, is it even worth reading?
Team Ico is pretty much guaranteeing this game will never live up to its hype. Which totally sucks.
