Does anybody remember the 90s, when you could ask for the driver to "call me before he leaves" and then have him stop by somewhere on the way to your house to pick up weed in exchange for sharing it with him/a good tip? If not, ummm, that never happened.

That list of 150 bands is pretty amazing, but….um, really, The Boomtown Rats? And Ugly Kid Joe?

Exactly. The Windom Earle stuff makes it interesting again but it's pretty clear they had no idea where to go with the show at that point. And Lynch didn't direct any of the episodes until the final one. To be honest, I can't even figure out why Nadine and Ed are even in season 2, except to fill up some airtime.

Season 2 can be compressed by about half by just skipping through the Ben Horne civil war nonsense, every scene with andy/lucy/dick, everything with nadine going back to high school, almost every scene having to do with the pageant….it makes it into a pretty quick watch, actually. Basically, after they solve Laura's

Um…I'll drive.

Most of those big festivals don't give refunds and the tickets are sold well in advance. It was kind of just an observation on the seeming sparseness of the crowd.

I was thinking mostly live, honestly, but yeah, Kurt did some pretty extensive overdubbing on Nevermind and In Utero. But I agree with the other points.

Man, that festival looks like it was not well-attended, doesn't it? But maybe it's just a bad camera angle.

Lithium and Gigantic are, honestly, pretty similar songs, although Gigantic has a chorus and Lithium's "chorus" is mostly just Kurt going "yeah." But similar dynamics, a really similar bassline. Only major difference is that Lithium has a refrain/bridge, while Gigantic is just a song with two parts.

They should have been dropped for having such a dumb name.

Wow, people making business pitches? Sounds absolutely riveting. I know it's TV and whatever but I can't fathom how that has been on for 8 years and how it is possibly enjoyable.

I've never seen a single episode of any of these shows, but I honestly had never even heard of Shark Tank until right now. 8 years? I don't even know what it's about. I'm not looking it up either. I'm assuming people aren't actually lowered into a shark tank.

I've seen Miley Cyrus's tongue more often than I've seen my own. And I'm like 20 years older than her.

Okay, I haven't seen St. Elmo's Fire in at least 20 years but this comment section makes me realize I have to fix that. Like, immediately.

I love this interview so much. Obviously, Pretty in Pink was a foundational moment for a gen Xer like myself, and it's really nice to see how human this guy is.

Door's on the left. You aren't required to be here, pal.

Gigantic or Monkey Gone to Heaven. "If the devil is six/ then God is seven!" Pixies for the win.

Huh, A music and culture festival organized by Ja Rule, with some tickets passing the 100K mark and featuring such of-the-moment vital talents as Blink-182 didn't work out? Who would have thunk it.

I saw Avatar when it came out. For the life of me, I seriously can't remember anything about it.

I hated that "all about the bass" song so much, mostly because I hate novelty music, but I had never had the misfortune to hear "no" until right now, but that third song - the "dear future husband" is one of the worst things I've ever heard. And I've heard a cat getting run over by a car. That line about giving her
