Maddy’s choices were just unbelievable to me. Like, why just do a bit of noodling without the structure of a song or, God forbid, any vocals, even if they were lip synced? All she did was prove she can play guitar but there was literally no showmanship or entertainment aspect to it

I agree. I didn’t think there was any serious difference between this episode and the first seven episode aside from the downgrade of Lizzo to the always boring Alicia Keys

Angeria was to me a child of Jaida and Coco Montrese with the makeup of Bianca.

Maddy better find his p*ssy to step up.

Oh, lighten up. This ep was fine. The Tic Tac product placement was strong but fun. Alicia Keys was cool, possibly stoned. The moments where the contestant’s performances were lacking was saved by the judges comments which kept it entertaining enough. This was a decent regular episode of Drag Race. Not as good as last

We’re gonna be reminded of Maddy’s sexuality every second she’s on screen which will probably get real boring soon. I understand the focus on it in her introduction episode, but you know the show is gonna milk it throughout her entire stay in the competition.

That was just irritating.

I would’ve given the win to Willow mostly because Kornbread had my least favorite look on the runway. Speaking of whom, “I didn’t understand what you were saying” is not a real critique since everyone else on the panel was able to understand what Kornbread was rapping, which shows there were no issues with her

Right? And for her biggest song!  I was actually really excited that Drag Race is finally paying for music for something like the talent shows.  Especially after years of stuff like Coco Montrese not being able to do her Janet Jackson for All Stars and ended up doing...what she did.

Competently executed boring (Bosco) is better than poorly executed boring (June) and poorly executed unfunny (Orion). Alyssa got saved by that stunning runway.

Alyssa comes out in a feathered Eliza Doolittle gown

Very little of Down Under was must watch

I can't stand when they do a lipsync. It's either doing something that they should all be able to do, or promoting their new single. Which is what kornbread did here too, though I appreciated her performance moreso.

I felt like the show and Ru realized Michelle was being super white in her critiques, and she was called out for it. Not in a mean way, just in a “you don’t know what you are critiquing here”.

It blew my mind when Enya came on, how did this song get on? Huge fan of both, genuinely curious.

I thought about that too, but with her being Yvie’s drag sister, I’m sure she got some good advice on how to translate to the format.

Willow’s self care was one for the entire franchise to top, and Ru was right in that it really was reminiscent of some of the early drag performances.

1. Welcome to the Comments, Trae. I’m sure you’ll find your over-intellectualized rants will do just fine.

I really agree with Trae about Bosco’s burlesque performance, which was the only big disconnect I had with the episode. The costume was good and the idea was good but the execution was really lackluster. Yes she slowly removed clothing which meets the technical requirements of a “strip tease” but she did in such a

Everyone’s talking about the Nicki track, but I had to text my friend: THEY PAID FOR ENYA??
