Deja should have been read to FILTH for that outfit. That was one of the worst looks that wasn’t part of a sewing challenge that I can recall. It seemed to me she and Jorgeous got very similar critiques for the challenge but Deja’s look was MUCH worse. Does the runway not count for anything?

However, the impact is dampened by the majority of Bosco’s previous looks all consisting of the same corset and thong silhouette.

I actually thought that this episode was great fun and that the musical ranks amongst the better musical episodes, as they’re almost always dreadful. The only part of the episode that felt forced and rehearsed was Bosco’s chocolate save. Because it was.

Call me a contrarian, but I’ve enjoyed Daya more and more as the season’s gone on. She’s consistently obtuse, but not particularly nasty, and her sour poutyface has become the fifteenth member of the cast! Yes, I know, yet somone else we now have to eliminate, but still.

That’s true...but impossible to achieve with the narrative arc that the writers decided to develop this season. If they had decided to develop an AS6 “everyone’s a winner!” story arc, Daya’s bitching wouldn’t be necessary to carry all of the storylines, and we wouldn’t be seeing it. The queens have absolutely no power

I find it refreshing - but I’m uncertain that’s been to Daya’s detriment with the viewership at large, in the way it’s been for other filter-less queens - Kandy Muse, Violet, Ginger.

This episode just… didn’t seem to need to happen.

  • Daya was so perturbed by Jasmine crying about lip-syncing against Angeria, yet so accepting when Lady Camden cried after winning against Bosco.

This series — even much more so than the main franchise — is less of a competition than it is a variety show, so the win really doesn’t matter that much in the end. It’s clear that the breakout stars (at least in the popular mind) this season were Pangina and Jimbo, and they didn’t come close to the top. Blu did a

Ha! That’s only marginaly worse than the look she gave on her appearance on Project Runway. Without expert styling, RuPaul can look like a crazy cat lady.

Angeria should make a bubble-wrap dress for her talent on her inevitable All Stars run. But without the accidental butt flap! Seriously, that dress was better than half the garments that have been trotted out on the runway this season.

everyone else was SO awful

It might as well be called “UK vs. The World (in Canada!)“, though, as there’s no way that they’re going to let a Canadian queen win the next season, as you can bet that the Canadian production queens don’t have enough clout to call the shots. And, really, none of the queens who have been on seasons one and two have

RuPaul: “I must admit that I expected more from all of you..”

I guess I just kept thinking of what could have been if only she had paired the jacket with a tailored, fitted skirt on the bottom. Quite a few people have suggested that this would have given her the profile of an inverted profile, which would have been amazing, especially if the outfit had been created in true Chanel

But I also don’t get why people seem to hate Jasmine so much.

While I can see why many would agree with you, I can’t support this. That insane piece of ‘50s exotica, “Malambo No. 1", provided one of the best lipsyncs of the entire franchise. And there’s a ton of stuff from the first part of the twentieth century that would make excellent lipsynch material. I will not be

I do enjoy Daya’s brazenness, her energy, and the spirit that she brings to the competition. I also hate the fact that none of the queens of colour could act in a similar manner without destroying their careers.

On the plus side, she appears to have Barrymore’s mannerisms, speech pattern, and late ‘90s look (a recurring theme for Willow here) nailed down. If she does flail -- always a possibility -- I can’t imagine that they’d be sending her home at this point, given Ru’s “you’re a grower!” comments on panel. I’d love to be

I loved Angeria’s runway...but it had almost the same silhouette as that gold outfit that she trotted out for “Chaps on the Runway”, so the houndstooth interpretation just didn’t feel as fresh.
