That Alexis/Cracker drama felt like a poorly-outlined improv sketch. With each actor giving a half-assed performance because they don’t like the roles that were assigned to them by shady producers promising more screen time. Then again, I wouldn’t like those roles, either.

But Jujubee was the star of the episode, which would have been a C (at best) without her. I really want her to win the entire thing at this point...which probably means she won’t. Bah!

This season feels very weirdly overproduced, and it’s taken away alot of the rough edges that make the regular series so very compelling. Cracker (and Alexis’) drama may or may not have been a stunt, but the editing makes it seem stiff and artificial, and that’s taken away from a lot of the fun that it could have

I was crushed that no one went for Room 96. Or Room 237, for that matter; I would have died to see Blair and Mayhem as the Grady twins. And who wouldn’t want to sleep in the Overlook?

Maybe. But it must be awfully had to get a read on where you stand if the only metric many young fans measure you is the “trending” column on social media. If you’re not the name on everyone’s lips then you’ve probably failed in your own eyes, especially if you’re insecure AND competitive. And if your brand is

“Disastrous” is all a matter of perspective. No one wants to get Roxxxyed (or worse, simply ignored) on All Stars, as all the queens probably want it to boost their booking fees, so I still think Cracker weighed the odds of winning it vs. becoming the Season’s Bowdy-Bowdy Bitch (and becoming Legendary), and took the

It’s certainly not the worst idea, as none of them wore out their welcome (with one obvious and huge exception). I can’t see why Jaida should be excluded, though, as her talking heads were spot-on and she was a big part of the season’s success.

Let’s not forget that the AS format of Drag Race places contestants in a very complicated position: many of them have come in with heated emotions from prior working (and personal) relationships; most of them want to play to the heightened expectations for drama that the fans want; and all of them know that they’ll

I don’t have a problem with Cracker’s behaviour this season, as it seems part of a carefully-constructed strategy rather than borne out of malice. I think Cracker’s very aware that the trajectory of an AS winner is even less clear and defined than it is in a regular season, and the best prize you can hope to take away

I smell a stunt...a good stunt! While it was all a bit rehearsed, just think how much duller this episode would have been without the Cracker drama. The queens are getting more and more meta with this show the longer it lasts, as they know that long-time fans will pick up and appreciate the references, especially when

I think even Alyssa would agree that she seemed to be low-energy, and that is definitely not a characteristic of Alyssa Edwards.

However, the most memorable moments of the season - at least among the finalists - belonged to Crystal.

Let’s go back to Ru’s appearance on Project Runway, shall we? Mother looked homeless on that episode with some flat and scraggly Dida Ritz (that’s Dida Ritz then, not now) shake ‘n go weave and a nose contoured by Magnolia Crawford. I doubt Ru is going to go back to those days now that she’s developed a glam look that

Her set was visually outstanding, but I did think that she could have done more with her makeup. I’m reminded of the popart episode of “Skin Wars”, when Luis transformed his model into a striking comic-style character; Gigi, with her skills, could easily have made herself into a charcoal sketch person that would have

I think Gigi’s great, but her performances were far too static for me and I didn’t feel much emotion come through the songs. During the split-screen action, my eyes continually drifted toward Jaida and, surprisingly, Crystal.

Aiden really has improved throughout this season both with her looks and her confidence. I think we’d be in for quite a surprise if she does make it onto an AS season.

Gigi essentially disappeared in the finale. She didn’t do poorly with the lip-syncs, but both Crystal — and especially Jaida — better understood just how different the dynamic of a static camera is to a studio-recorded performance, and their performances showed that. Carson made an excellent point when he stated that

True, and I have mixed feelings about Crystal’s lewk as well, unless that old, flaky, and peeling spackle was a clever and devastating read of the (uninvited) Thirteenth Guest. Although if that was the case, doing a straight up Katherine Hepburn would have been even more awesome.

I get what you’re saying (written), but the days of the classic bitchfests of seasons 2 and 4 happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Ru & co. have deliberately moved the format of the reunion show away from a salacious tell-all to a carefully choreographed ad for the queens, and I’d rather be entertained

Okay, but what was up with Ru’s luchador look? It looked like she was wearing a onesie on her face.
