the scene in the diner was amazing

'she was like, "it's called fuckin acting,"
and i was like, "no it's called fuckin see ya, cuz i'm fuuuckin outta here"'

of course Kurt Sutter wrote this episode, hey look 'shock value shock value shock value'…luckily it's The Shield and not a later episode of SOA, so it's still good

also, I think the new reviewer was pretty spot-on with this review.

Just want to say how happy I am, and how fortunate we all are, to have Olyphant back for another season playing Raylan Givens again…so goddamn good. The opening in the courtroom, and the later scene with Dewey by the pool, were pure magic and hilarious. The flaws in this episode (like the minor flaws throughout the

I hope he writes another book - Homicide: A Life on the Killing Streets is one of the greatest books I've ever read, amazing achievement.

I can imagine…just watched this episode more than a year after it came out, while living in a very small city in far western Hunan province.

absolutely agree…Sonia's reviews of Getting On are good, but her MOS reviews are not so hot. It doesn't help that she's been raving about a lot of not very good Homeland episodes either

yeah, Homeland and Masters of Sex are completely different shows and extremely difficult to compare…but I still cannot conceive that both these reviewers, Todd and Sonia (especially Todd, whose ideas I agree with far more) considered that last episode of Homeland to be better, or more successful, than this episode of

B+ , but very close to an even B…a lot of the best stuff was tainted somewhat by overly dramatic stuff - for example, as Sonia said, the scene in the cell was strong, especially the silence at the end of the phone conversation. But that was then discarded as Brody and Carrie's final conversation, in favor of Carrie

A- I thought this was a much better episode than last week's - more unpredictable, more plausible, and more suspenseful

damn i thought Juice was just checking out his sweet SON SHINE tats

I wish you would stay with Masters, Todd

I 100% agree with you

when it comes to realism, it's all about how it's presented…I think more people than you may believe will go along with unbelievable elements if the plot, character development, and basic emotions of the characters and show are well compensated. This episode does not do that well enough for me, after everything

I'd say an even B, but I feel like that's a tad generous. Was entertaining, but the dialogue and what happened felt a bit lame to me…I wouldn't blame earlier episodes in this season either, I think some of the earlier episodes were better than this one actually

what i really want most out of this show is to watch Meelo die

your username and photo don't do justice to your insightful comments about this show…often you do a better job than AV's reviewer, Sonia

I agree with some of this review, but I don't see why everything on every show, especially one as enjoyable as this one is, needs to have a reason or has to lead to somewhere huge. Is that how life always is? Is that how time unfolds in life? Every little thing being an element leading to some grand idea?
