I love, love, love Volvo of the past ten years but...I still don’t really know why.

I’m actually more surprised that the crossing signals weren’t down. That seems rather unsafe.

Life imitates art.

I’m bothered that the man running up the tower doesn’t even appear to be running. He’s just lazily jogging. Who lazily jogs up the side of a tower?

I like my little Iron 883 sportster, but I’m also a man who wears slim-fit dress shirts in purple, so maintaining a masculine image isn’t really my thing anyway.

I turned (too fast) onto a road at night in my Volvo S40 T5 only to discover that half of it was dug up to work on a ditch. I swerved to dodge the gaping hole (who needs signage and construction cones?) and bounced over a curb.

Oh god for a split second I thought that was a jack stand.

That poor navigation system just doesn’t know what to do.

Oh, I know it’s an issue with all the modern DCTs, I just used PDK because...reasons.

Argh PDK upshifts sound the worst!

Note that you’re not a moron because you developed a system of torque measurement based on twisting nipples, but because you got the coefficients in your equation wrong.

Watch the video when they show the driver’s seat. You’ll see that the seat belt is buckled in. How or why is the seat belt buckled when the driver isn’t in the car?

I’ve gotten two 200lb+ men in an ‘82 911 in addition to myself. Scoff all you want, sometimes those extra seats are a lifesaver.

YES. Where the hell did they find the guy driving the 918?! I’ve never seen such a crazy hand position from someone driving a car that fast!

At or above 6’ on a ladder if you’re going to be using both hands. And this is because 6’-10’ is the most common height of a fall from a ladder resulting in fatality.

“OSHA and its ridiculous rules”?

Now playing

911s from the 70s through at least 89 had unequal length headers, the difference just isn’t as pronounced because the boxer six has an even firing order (L-R-L-R-L-R instead of L-L-R-R). Here’s my ‘82 straight piped from the headers back (45s for the MEAT):

Yes! Good on you for going to their school as it’s superb. I did the three day course a few years back and went back the next year for their competition licensing program. I can’t stress enough how valuable the coaching was, no matter where the instructors were—the classroom, the passenger’s seat, the corner stations

Air-cooled 911 on a hot day in Texas. At a certain point you just have to pull over and turn it off for a while.

$350/hr?
