You're assuming I have a chain saw. I have buck saws , dozukis, circular and a bunch more. But a chain saw is pretty specialized.

I always tell my staff to take their lunches and breaks. The company doesn't give them to you because it's nice, it gives them to you because Taylor said it made you more productive.

I use ' vinegaroon ' to dye leather black. It's quite easy to use, costs almost nothing to make and is environmentally friendly too.

Every resume I submit is tailored to the specific job I'm applying too. If I don't have a number of specific "STAR stories" that match the job description I wouldn't normally apply to the job.

I always look at it as having a toolbox. If all you have is one set of tools your limited in what you can fix and limited in how you'd approach the problem. It's the old line - if all you have is a hammer - every problem looks like a nail.

The downside is that Google tells me about the traffic jams when I'm either in them or even 'better' when I'm on the train going 70 mph beside that traffic congestion.

My next phones won't be bought through our carrier. We're on an old set of plans - $30 for 6Gb and our 'voice' costs are basically $20 on top of that. The newer plans start at $70/month and limit you to 1Gb of data. If you want a hardware subsidy you have to move to the new plans.

Not enough.

The one near me is a ghost town. The one associate spent 20 minutes doing cuts for me one night. Basically all the cross cuts I needed for my desk/shelf unit were done by them. What made the job go faster was that I planned the unit to have most of the cuts be one of two lengths - then he had to only reset the saw

If you need to get sheet goods cut, I've found that Friday night at Home Depot is a good time to go. The staff isn't busy and is often bored enough that they'll do as many cuts as needed.

I'd be very cautious about this - LinkedIn did a school ranking based on a number of factors. While my program was highly rated (based on who's alumni of what school and works for what company) there were a number of schools that were rated very highly that don't have that reputation (one is a very new university).

Once you get north of $25 a knife I think you are just paying for the name. My 'french peasant' knife will sharpen to too good an edge easily and will hold it for a while too.

It's finding enough noise but not too much noise that's the trick.

A lot of non-competes aren't valid in their entirety and just because you don't have one doesn't mean you can do anything post employment. Statutory law (or common law) covers things too and employers can't infringe on what's covered.

this sounds like the sort of thing that would work great if you're at the same hotel monthly or more often.

For blogging and productive time I always use the library. Usually the section that has the large work tables.

Maybe it's just me - skipping a question always kept it in my head and I'd continue to think about it which is a distraction. I'd guess, note it as such on a piece of scrap paper and keep moving. If I had time to come back to it great - if I didn't at least it was answered. This process means you may get caught

exactly, once you are certain that two answers are right it has to be all of the above - assuming they aren't doing that "a and b" nonsense.
