a long time ago I recall seeing a ford focus totaled after t-boning a smart fourtwo in a photo. Sadly i can't find it anywhere.

unless the person is a complete moron, most people don't redline it once they turn the key. Hence myth busted in all regard.
Agreed. It's not like everyone is going to just take apart the engine every weekend and need to get to the cylinder heads or intake manifold where it meets the block. Only on those extremely rare occasions. or most people take it to a mechanic that actually knows how to take it apart.
seems like you're comparing trucks to cars. Even then diesels are still worlds quieter than they used to be (from the factory). Now, if you give it an aftermarket exhaust then I can understand the louder part. Smoke and stink? Not unless it was modified by an idiot that loves to "dump coal" or "roll smoke" to show…
Have you tried Holo Launcher/Holo Locker? It doesn't use as much battery/data as Go, since it doesn't "call home" to update the Ads every few minutes like Go Launcher likes to. That is my main complaint with Go.
Holo Launcher/Holo Locker seem to look pretty good. Android 4.0 ICS/ Android 4.1 Jelly Bean UI for the launcher and the lock screen. Works pretty good for older devices (like those packing 2.3.6) to look/feel a little bit newer, and if you want a basic 4.0/4.1 styled phone without as much bells and whistles that Nova…
Try either Go Launcher EX or Holo Launcher.
Seems my clothes were in the 'To Big' category for quite a long time. My girlfriend fitted me herself last time I got some clothes and wearing the right fit looks a lot better.
It just seems so odd to me that if someone becomes so unhappy with a service, to keep using it. Especially when there are alternatives out there. (and since it's free - there's no cost for membership. Heck many alternatives are already being used in conjunction such as twitter.)
that's a given. However most prebuilt "towers" these days use a Micro ATX sized board(that I've come across), and as one gains experience and confidence in working with the hardware, they can upgrade easily if they have the budget to accommodate it. If case clearance is tight then move to Micro ITX sized as those…
the drone strikes killing civilians I can agree about getting upset on as it's not right. However do you really believe that A. they are doing it on purpose or B. that they are following orders? IMHO both can be true as you have some that get off on harming others (A) and those that are stuck between a rock and a…
agreed. and the numbers for HP mislead as well depending how the cars are tested. Normally this is through the flywheel and not actual power at the wheel on the road.
couldn't agree more with that (the satire that is. you make excellent points in your other comments on this thread as well)
Yeah I did forget about that but I agree. I hear that alot too for the "CVTs suck" part. And I agree, the newer versions are silky smooth and avoid alot of the drone.
What I find funny is that people will always complain about what Facebook does that shafts it's users, but they will keep using it despite the complains because "everyone else is using it".
crash-testing-wise, new cars are safer, but yes I can see how it's debatable considering the high amount of recalls yearly from different brands for this or that.
Extremely common misconceptions I hear all the time, especially on Jalopnik:
never heard of that. I'll have to give that a try. Thanks for the heads up.
so much hate on this article in the comment section. Quite a few smug asshats with entitlement issues.. Examples:
