As both a driver and cyclist, blanket statements on both sides frustrate me. Be pissed at the riders that act like dicks. Be pissed at the drivers that act like dicks.

didn't try it facing out. though I'm partial to doing cable loom instead (another post on the comments for this article outside of this thread)
I've always had reside when using tape unless I use Goo Gone, :-(
Depending on your budget, sometimes it's better to buy instead of build, as you can 'build" into the buy with future upgrades later on when you have the finances. I did that for a friend of mine. He wanted a gaming rig like mine but couldn't swing the cash to afford it (bills etc) so I helped him buy a decent $700 PC…
I already knew that /facepalm
Agreed, and not everyone is fortunate enough to have such breathtaking views at their home (or apartment) :-)
but considering it's unlimited (even though throttled) it's really hard to gripe since the other carriers would charge an arm and a leg for that kind of thing and would still throttle the crap out of it. :-) but I get your point, it can be frustrating when it crawls
all a simple tire change means in this context is to take the wheel/tire off the car and put another one on (like changing to your spare tire because your normal one has a flat) You'd be surprise dhow many people can't or won't do this and leave it to a "professional" instead.
+1. This all the way
Perfect example of "Hold my beer and watch this!"
4th Gear: Toyota Going To Trail In Acceleration Case
Very true, but I don't see this engine being put into a 1 ton or greater vehicle, more like a 1/2 ton like a Ram 1500 or Titan, as they are lighter trucks and as such the payloads aren't as great as their bigger counterparts.
with a diesel, it's about torque, not horsepower, and this engine delivers where it counts.
and here I thought that the less the engine has to do, the less fuel is needed to do it. a more powerful engine in a lighter weight truck should yield the same or slightly better numbers than a heavier truck with the same engine would. Yes I know that gearing helps/hurts in this aspect as well, but all things being…
who said it was a luxury car? it's a Sports car. Big difference. It's like the Ford GT in that it's a stripped down sports car meant for driving and it makes no apologies for how it looks because you'll be too busy enjoying rowing your gears while the rear wheel drive rockets you around with the same gusto of a…
I realize that this is the "technology age" but I fail to see how it's any different so far than not that long ago of letting the TV 'raise' your kid. Instead of a TV, we have smartphones and tablets doing the job. Yes they will learn how to use the device but they won't understand it and take for granted what it…
so basically the cop(s) stood by because they were chicken-s**t?
My only rpoblem with the Volt is that it's not running the powertrain that the concept promised: electric only drive with a small gas engine to charge the batteries. In other words the gas engine should've had no mechanical connection to dtrive the wheels directly. If they would've stuck to that it would've been…
Good info. thanks for sharing (though this was never about fuel economy, just about power output per liter measurement since the person I originally replied to said that the 383 stroker makes 557 hp but the same 6.2 (since the 383 is 6.2 liters as well) makes ~100hp more which is what threw me off.
I think you're confusing displacement with mechanics.. Viper - OHV (aka pushrod engine) Audi/Porsche/BMW - OHC (aka cams on top of the engine. normally single or dual cams per cylinder bank) OHC engines typically wind up higher in the RPM range than a pushrod engine does, as that's how both types are designed.…
