You souldn’t talk about what you don’t know about. That’s not what happened. US steel was always more expensive, and now that’s the working price since the cheap chinese/canadian steel has been adjusted up to US prices.

Did you know we couldn’t source enough US steel to build any major construction project, like the Oakland bridge, for the last 30 years? Does that make you comfortable knowing that we have been on the hair’s edge of China being able to stop billions of dollars of projects in the US at the drop of a hat?
