Yes, I have heard that chopping your dick and balls off and having a crevice forcefully inserted in to your body where it shouldn’t exist can be quite painful.

There is absolutely a market cap since EVs don’t work for a huge part of the market that ICE vehicles do work for.

Yes, instead of blank buttons we are going to have deactivated screens. Then they will figure out they can send ads to those screens. You may want to adjust the A/C but will need to wait 15 seconds for the ad to play through. Or subscribe to your car's All Access feature and get uninterrupted controls. Future looks

Since this is Cadillac’s new business model, half the features will transition to subscription after three years, so they will make up the cash on the backside.

The driver’s door completely rips from its hinges and the car still gets a top safety designation—huh.

They’ll double down their efforts on a hideous interior.

Someone made a Tie Fighter short a while back. It’s more Macross than Ghibli, but it’s very nice:

Rich people, who before bought Benzes and Bimmers, bought Model Ses to ‘one-up’ the neighbors.  As soon as MB and BMW start selling luxury/performance electric cars they will return to the fold.

This ain’t gonna work out the way some of y’all think it will.

Buick Canyonero. It’s what the US market demands...

If people think entire groups of people are not to be believed based upon the actions of one person than that says more about their biases and prejudices.

No one wants their workers to unionize. Unions offer nothing but hassle and expense.

We’ve learned that shooting yourself in the foot can be framed as a glamorous victory over the plutocrats.

The death penalty should 100% be off the table. The state should not be able to kill citizens, and no matter how terrible you think anyone is, mistakes can be made. Death cannot be taken back.

Uhh, theres no conspiracy here. Take off you tinfoil hat. The article is simply stating that in the winter, driving range is significantly affected by using the onboard heaters. If that bothers you you can drive your EV with heavy jackets on and not run the heaters, or maybe not. But its simply a scientific fact that

You might want to pick another gas station... or oil or something. I have a 2012 GTi and while I have a little longer trips (~30mi to work. Some shorter trips), I basically never see mileage in the teens. I only drop around 10% in the cold, and can often get very close to warm weather mileage if I manage to lose some

So your complaint is that they aren’t using the cars as smartly as they could be to minimize the cold weather losses, and that’s true, but that only introduces more variables and complexity which is not what you want in a study. It also doesn’t compare the ICE and EV vehicles on the same plane, which is always the

If only there had been an electric car at a very competitive price that was designed specifically to cover every use case, including the fact that people make short trips most of the time and that it’s actually more efficient to burn fuel on really cold days.

Time for Green New Deal version 2.0. Now that we will soon have transoceanic trains cruising at 550mph within 10 years (and consume less overall energy than a plane going the same ground speed), maybe the government can defy the laws of physics again and have EV’s not effected by temperature too!

Whatever it is, I saw an old 1/30th scale dusty model kit of the car in a back alley antique store in Prague. I didn’t have cash, so when I went back the next day to buy it, the store was gone, the whole back alley was gone. Like it never existed. Somehow I got a picture on my phone, so it wasn’t a dream...was it?
