When you’re not concerned with survivability, it takes a lot less to run just about anything.

I will sit alone in my office for the next 2 weeks with minimal workload because company policy dictates all departments must have at least one staff member present. Since my workload is generated by others, I’ll have another two weeks after that before my load returns to normal.

I can also redline the engine in my car. Normally it runs about 1500 rpm, so pushing it to 6000 rpm all the time should net me 400% more performance than the sucker in the next lane.

My wife calls it my jimmy-leg. I call it the secret to burning off excess calories.

I would love the burden of living paycheck to paycheck making six figures. ;)

I’ve never broken the glass on my iPhone, and I’ve owned every “s” generation for about 2 years each. I have two rules. First, keep the phone in magpul case. Second, never put the phone in a pocket with keys.

I’m kinda neurotic about bills and money. I’ll log into Mint almost every day just to see what cleared. It drives me nuts to have anything above a grand in my checking account. I much rather prefer to pay bills ahead of time, giving me a safety net of 30-60 days if something catastrophic happened. If I need immediate

Say what you will about the impending death of newspapers, but the whole industry is extremely taxing on individuals. I worked in a newsroom for several years, then on to the production side. Many late nights are given to meet an unrelenting production schedule.

By standard economic definition, bitcoin is not money. Yes it is a barter instrument, but bitcoin is not widely accepted. As a store of value, money loses purchasing power over time due to inflation. At least in the short-term, Bitcoin’s purchasing power has been rising. That’s also a problem for the final

Care.com releases these types of figures every year, and they are always extremely high. Could it be that a service that skims a percentage off the top would want to reset anchor prices higher?

Here’s the thing about stories like this. The Dem’s found someone who they could work with to “manage” the president. Instead of being adults, they ran to mommy 24-hour news media and utterly destroyed any chance of a productive outcome. I understand the need to always portray a president from the other party as the

Our annual fight usually picks up steam while we’re doing the dishes and someone asks brother #1 about the dent in the roasting pan. About 8 or 9 years ago brother #2 didn’t realize it was time to cool it and pushed #1's button once too many times. There wasn’t even alcohol involved and we had an all out brawl between

Let’s not forget to ensure the meal is ready to eat when you’ve planned. One year, my mother-in-law didn’t start thawing the bird until that morning, but planned to eat around 2. We held off feeding the kids lunch and had to scramble when she realized we’d be eating closer to 4 or 5. Since we were staying in a hotel,

Things my parents (especially my mother) did well:

My wife won’t ever be strutting down a New York fashion runway, but I have a strong suspicion that when she asks me this type of question it’s because she’s already aware of an issue with her appearance and unsure if others will notice or be critical. As a slightly heavyset person, I’ve only had to outright tell her

This is how I envision a bunch of politicians and Hollywood execs got themselves into trouble.
