@aeronaut: Yeah, but around here they all have them. Except the completely evil Wal Mart.

@gt0163c: "Unexpectedly stuck in Buffalo" ever, at all, for any length of time, sounds miserable.

I hate the grocery cards. I had an epiphany one day in a store as I was looking at buying some grapes. Without the card, they were $6 a pound and with the card only $2 a pound. It was at that moment that I figured out that they don't save you money, they abuse you for not having one.

@hgoodman01: Larry Ellison is douche who, sooner or later, will screw OpenOffice users. Or maybe just neglect it. So, while no real difference now, sooner or later you may want to leave OO. Or maybe you just want to support LibreOffice. Because, you know, Ellision is a douche.

Hipster is just another word for poser. That's why they annoy us.

@karmakazenz1: Very expensive, too, and require manual sealing. If you have to regularly seal a couple thousand envelopes, you would be wasting lots of munny and time.

@RickieFromtheBlock

Actually, I used to sell envelope sealers and that machine appears to be simply a manual version of the electric ones that I sold. The basic design hasn't really changed all that much.

Boomhauer?

@SewerShark: Uh, if you gain a copy illegally, that is a legal copy that you did not pay for. Therefore, theft. Any time you illegally copy intellectual material, you are stealing from the creator of that material, whether it is a song, a movie or Windows.

Not a goal. Kuyt was offside. Torres should have finished.

@redfalconf35: If your cellphone/smartphone has an alarm clock, use that as your primary alarm, not the one in the hotel. But use them both anyway.

@Ihaveasmartpuppy: If you can play Battleship and can add, subtract, multiply and divide, you can get started with Excel.

@twDarkflame: I think of io9 as a sort of pre-preview look at what is coming. But I agree, their opinions tend to the fanboy side.

What, no io9?

Look at what those fuckin' hipsters have done!

@timobrien1: Yeah, but then they toss 'em in the dryer.
