Just had a family member pick up the bogus virus warning last night, after having this discussion with her umpteen times. . Nice job on the guide! Sending it around now!

I just got it, so haven't really tried it, but is seems clear that Google Wave will be a very powerful outlining tool one day (hopefully soon!).

Ninjawords. That's all you need.

What's really dumb is when someone replies to a company-wide email and then mistakenly hits Reply All. Inevitably, someone else will hit Reply All telling them to stop using Reply All. Must kill the servers.

It seems that Google Wave would probably solve this problem, to some degree, if the whole world were using it. Which they will, eventually.

@alcalde: I got a problem with asking someone to buy me something. Seems a bit...pushy. If someone asks me what I want for my birthday, for instance, then I open the appropriate bookmark and send them the link.

$500 Gateway laptop here with 4Gb 64-bit Win 7 and have never even strained it a little. Lot of performance for not much $$$.

When I see something I want to add to my list, I just bookmark it. No other app needed.

This would be the most disruptive change in telephony since Alexander Graham Bell plugged that first phone in. It would instantly devalue billions, if not trillions of dollars' worth of infrastructure. The suits at AT&T and Verizon and the like have got to be crapping their pants over this, and that is a good thing.

All my passwords, etc. are saved in Keepass, a copy of which is on a thumb drive in my daughter's hands. The password for it is in the hands of my 2 sisters. My kid can get to anything she needs to get to if something happens to me.

Not gonna pay as long as there are banner ads in this world or short commercials, a la Hulu. #internet

@Mr.Gawn: Ouch, that's a tricky one. Too late now, but when I work on a relative's computer, I ask them if there is anything they would like to, ahem, remove before I start.

@agroom: So if I watch, say, Heroes on cable TV, there are no commercials? Which cable system are you on? #hulu

Hoodies and radiant space heaters in a closed space. Works great and you don't heat the whole house, only the room you're in. It helps to be single.

@zimmi88: If Hulu DOESN'T start charging for content, their business will likely fail. Might as well make a few bucks where they can.

I've had AT&T for about 15 years now. They're coverage gets steadily better and their customer service has always been excellent. I don't know how you all present yourselves to the CS Rep, but I treat them well. Makes a big difference.

Bought a Jabra headset a couple of years ago. After the third replacement failed within 3 months gave up and got a Plantronics and swore to never again go Jabra. I'm sure not paying $130 for one. #jabrastone
