@wickedcupofjoe: I've used Nature's Miracle for years and it works wonders. Available at the link to petco that you gave. #cleaning

Over 68 hours by about, oh, Tuesday evening each week. #internet

I just double tap Ctrl to bring up a popup box from Google Desktop and hit Ctrl+W. Done.

Nope, but somebody got my email address from here and sent me a request for an invite. So I marked their email as spam.

@ospreyguy: Agreed, car sales is very different and probably is the one profession what has done more to give salespeople a bad name than any other.

@Shawn: no, Shawn, I have to make a living. I have bills to pay, a family to support and I prefer to make a living selling products and services to people who need them. If someone didn't need something, nobody would sell it. Would you have all items and services simply displayed on a shelf? Not everything comes

@orlo: For simple, straightforward purchases, yes. For commodities, definitely. But if you have a specific need or problem, you need the sales rep's expertise and if you want fair treatment, give fair treatment. And be prepared to act on the information you receive from that sales rep. Stainlessrat, above, who

OK, confession time. I have been a salesman for the last 15 years, though never a car salesman. First, let me say that the sales/customer interaction is broken. Customers expect to be ripped off and truly, "buyers are liars." There is nothing more frustrating as a sales professional than a customer who either

My Dad insists on using his ISP provider's home page. There is a screen on there with about 10 different search engines on it, and you can just choose the one you want to use. I sat and watched my Dad enter the same term into each search box, hit enter, and then read each result. Since it was a football story, he

As another commenter said, I understand the technology and do not expect perfect coverage in all areas. But I do expect that when I am in a 3,4 or 5 bar area that my calls not drop. And I'm already paying plenty, thank you. If there were true competition out there, prices would be coming down, but they never do.

I want to be able to do a web search for a number, highlight the number, right click and place the call without having to cut and paste into the Voice dialer.

Can't start the day without my fix. Wake up, take a walk, turn computer on, let dogs out, start coffee, start oatmeal, feed dogs, dish up oatmeal, pour coffee, read feeds and assorted websites, finish oatmeal, finish 2nd cup of coffee, shower, dress and hit it.

@Duane: Christ, I hate the new comments section.

@elfchick: Well, I just toss a couple of chickens in the back yard with mine every once in a while. They love it!

Oh, one other way to save ink. The biggest ink saver I've found is to lose the wife. She printed everything she ever saw on the screen.

I bought a Kodak AiO for about $100 a year or two ago and love it. Ink is cheap, $25 for a color and BW combo package and get a good yield. I don't print nearly as much as I used to, very pleased with the printer. Only downside is the color cartridge has all colors in one cart, so if you run out of one, you run out

@boricua21ny: I'm with boricua here. I have GV and my domestic calls are free. What does Gizmo add to this, unless they will pay me to use them?
