perf(orated) screens do tend to interfere less with sound, but the silver painting process would fill any perforations present so i'm guessing there's none there to begin with. also, perf screens tend to be pretty thick and the material doesn't drape in the same manner as what's pictured.

the gf has been playing skyrim since i got it for her for xmas. this weekend i will be reclaiming my ps3 in protest with some ff7 action.

your point that chipotle is not good food is an unassailable subjective point, and one with which i have no argument. but what makes real mexican food and what makes fake mexican food? i've been to chipotles that were staffed entirely by latinos - at least a few of whom were presumably mexican - is the food they're

this is far less 'transformers' (media presence in multiple forms across multiple continents for multiple decades followed by fourth of july openings) than it is 'battle los angeles' (aliens invade and pretty faces in the u.s. military blow stuff up before schools let out).

this is true. i know at least a few folks who define themselves as "conservative" but are far from religious zealots. it's my own default that tends to lump the different flavors into the same cone. still, while i may not be on board with their methods, i do appreciate that their intent is to help make people smarter.

science says that "before what we understand, there was what we don't understand". most religions tend to say the exact same thing, except for those that say "we understand nothing". with both science and faith saying the same thing in different ways, which is the path you're suggesting is useless?

With Avengers two weeks prior and no sure things booked for the week before, it'll have a decent opening and then get buried by Men in Black the week after. Not that MiB will necessarily deserve it. But sequel-warranting numbers are far from a sure thing.

also because except for a few years every now and again, many of us tend to not give a damn about the rest of the world. (and for the record, also why the football field is measured in yards.)

on the other hand, if they were interested in pushing a political or social (vs academic) agenda, i wonder if they wouldn't portray the data in a manner so as to put such a generally left-leaning state as california in a more critical light. There are any number of conservative groups that would generally celebrate

geez, i thought you were out of your mind, but you're completely right. it's absurd that the price on that shot up so much- i picked up my blu copy for (an overpriced) $30 two years ago. today, i'd settle for a dvd copy of the original english dub.

or better yet, skip the regulation of people entirely, and instead move towards allowing evolution to take its course. of course, as someone who needs glasses, i suppose i'd be one of the first to go. but at least i wouldn't have to listen to people trying to protect other people from themselves anymore.

instead of regulating yet another manner in which careless parents fail to properly raise their children, why not simply regulate careless parents?

spend some time working at a movie theatre and you'll get a pretty good idea of how many people with twitter, texts, and fb are still dumb enough to drop a couple hours' pay to watch complete crap. it's not as if they're watching the movie anyway, because they're spending half of it on twitter, texts, and fb.

i know, right? f**kin' vimeo. what the hell would they know about video anyway?

Kindler. Well-written, sir. Hopefully you know enough to ignore the trolls who posted half the comments I read before I got bored.

maybe it's just me, but i don't read this as being anti-religion. i read it as being anti-judgmental prick.

i already had another 10-12 in hulu, so when i cancelled netfix's disc i moved the amount into spotify. all good so far.

it may depend on where you are. here in california if i recall correctly, there is no legal protection (at least on the civil level) for good samaritans whose life-saving actions caused or exacerbated some injury or unwelcome condition on the part of the person being rescued.

considering that sheet is dated 1981 and there have since been 1,143 different re-releases in every format under the sun, they would all still be massively loaded even at their original percentages. and of course, this was just the first film.

there are no such things as aliens. they are simply unconverted souls waiting to be shown the light.
