Yes it would. And since they made Winn a Legionnaire anything’s possible.

It’s been mentioned by me and a couple of others. FWIW, closed captioning spelled it “Aila.” I think the name may have been fan service though. There was no indication that Winn's wife has powers or is a Legionnaire.

I'd forgotten Winn+Lena until now but I was pulling for them too. The "Nothing happened!" awkwardness after they came out from under the table was adorable.

If Nia were a cisgender cancer survivor with no uterus or ovaries, of course she would still be a woman by any reasonable definition. But people would be inclined to ask questions if it were revealed that she would have not only children someday but descendants who would inherit her gift. Fans, myself included, would

The quotes are precisely because “real woman” is a made up term. As if there could be "fake women" (transvestites perhaps?) I’m not being weird, I’m trying to understand something that’s contradictory.

I’m not implying—or attempting to imply—that she isn’t. I’m cool with her just the way she is. But last season the writers—not me, not the fans—had her own sister tell her she’s not a “real woman.” I wish they hadn’t but it does point out what trans persons must experience on a regular basis. I’m supportive of both Nia

Rethink what? Everything I’ve posted is based on careful thought and available evidence. If you mean “Adopt my POV,” that’s probably not going to happen.

Possibly uncomfortable but the writers opened that can of worms, not the fans. As mentioned, the inheritance question can be resolved as being based on gender rather than genetics but Nia simply can’t have children by conventional means whether she’s “a real woman” or not. That leaves the question of her descendants

An adopted child wouldn't inherit her gift unless it was also Naltorian. That seems unlikely.

And how do you propose to have him pay them? His snazzy office plus the Tower already strain financial credibility.

It would be nice if that were the end of it but it’s not. Nia can be a “real woman” by any measure you or I might propose but genetically she isn’t and that cries out for an explanation or at least a bit of hand waving.

Winn blabbing about the future bugged me too. Especially considering his concern about messing up the timeline.

She was fun until she started using Winn, even if it was to save her brother, then I couldn’t help thinking he deserved better.

While "queer" is an umbrella term I don't know whether Nia would employ it for self identification. I did find it interesting that she was apparently the only one who reacted.

That assumes his Aila (that’s how closed captioning spelled it anyway) is the same person as Ayla Ranzz. She apparently isn't a Legionnaire.

Her people arrived as refugees IIRC and her family lives on a farm. Besides which, her surgery was done on Earth by a human doctor. If there were advanced Naltorian tech available they would have used it then.

I was actually rooting for Winn+Siobhan. Too bad she had to turn evil.

My usual random thoughts:

Yes, Lena is “throwing in with 2 people she KNOWS can’t be trusted - Lex and Lillian,” because they’ve always been honest about being evil and only in it for themselves. Regardless of everything else, they haven’t lied to her. Kara, OTOH, has been “a hypocritical shitty friend!” As for Kara not being "out to rule the

It always was if the DEO is a government agency, which it appears to be.
