I have no doubt we'll see more of Eve/Hope but I was specifically talking about original Eve with her normal personality. It'll be interesting to see if she remains Eve/Hope for the long term.

Just before she and James found J'onn passed out. They didn't spend a lot of time talking about it but she referred to it as a weight being lifted.

See my previous comment about James being at least as qualified as some of the people who really are Senators.

I’m crossing my fingers that we’ll see Eve 1.0 again but I won’t be surprised if we don’t.

I've shared this before but last year we were out to dinner with friends and our waitress looked a lot like Anne Hathaway. I could either think, "Wow! That waitress looks like Anne Hathaway!" or "Wow! That's Anne Hathaway slumming as a waitress!" People tend to see what they expect to see and rationalize whatever

“Nia was talking about the politics of fashion in one of her first episodes, Kara. Run with that.”

She talked to James about the reveal in this episode. You must have blocked it out.

I suspect they're trying to establish romantic chemistry between Kara and British Dude. Everything we've seen so far is straight out of a standard romcom.

My usual random thoughts:

“her boss and co-workers expect her to (gasp!) do her job in a timely and professional manner.”

Not exactly what I was thinking but sure, why not? I just had a wide belt in mind, ala Batman, but a cummerbund worked for Ultra Boy in the comics.

Another possibility would be to make the belt red and maybe wider so there’s a sort of “partial trunks” look but from what I’ve read they’re pretty much married to the skinny gold belt. Unfortunate, IMHO, but I’m not running the show.

Boxer briefs? Anyway, strictly speaking what we have now, without the trunks, isn't the Superman suit either.

I thought the energy void—or whatever it was—*burned* holes in her cape. But since it was originally Clark's Kryptonian baby blanket it should be indestructible. It would have made more sense to have some other part of the suit damaged. In fact, the leotard/jacket, tights and boots aren't Kryptonian so she should have

Yes, she is. She’s Lex’s half sister since they have the same father. Plus, there’s the whole nature-vs-nurture thing. She was raised as a Luthor and exposed to their values and way of thinking from childhood. She might not be 100% Luthor but she's awfully close.

They could maybe do something with the torso one color like a leotard, and the legs and maybe sleeves a different color. I can't think of an example but it's probably been done.

The comics occasionally mentioned the Star as a competitor to the Planet. It would be interesting to see Catco in competition with another media outfit. Morgan Edge owned Galaxy Broadcasting in the comics and the character has already been introduced.

Thanks. I've been griping about the lack of continuity from the beginning, starting with the timeline.

Probably a matter of name recognition. If someone were able to buy Amazon or eBay they’d probably keep the name.
