Lena doesn't know. It's not "stupid," it's just one of those tropes that comes with the territory.

The beginning of season 1 would have been about 3 1/2 years ago so the red sun incident would have been in the past but yeah, they're doing some serious retconning.

D'oh! My bad.

I wasn’t particularly bothered. Manchester Black has always been “off the rails,” compared to more traditional super types. Batman on a bad day is still less radical than Manchester.

Now that I've seen the extended trailer for next week's episode, I have to say I'm not impressed with what I've seen of his Lex. Seems like they could have done better.

The Children of Liberty are threatening because of the idea they represent. In real life, the KKK is just a bunch of white guys in sheets but it's the mindset they represent that's truly dangerous.

My usual random thoughts:

I wondered the same thing at first but wasn’t Kelex destroyed earlier this season or maybe last season?

No idea whether Haley knew or not, although she seems pretty savvy most of the time and Brainy was extremely transparent. I think the "confounding" comment was in reference to her being largely unpredictable--almost like a poorly written TV character.

“How exactly did Brainy organize this massive, world-changing, peaceful march in less than a week?”

That has possibilities. It would parallel Gangbuster from the comics.

That's my working theory too. She decided not to bother Lena and took matters into her own hand.

Kara’s family was prominent on Krypton and besides her mother had put most if not all of those aliens in Ft. Rozz in the first place.

Major difference: Defeating Reign would *prevent* a disaster. Nia learning about the future for no good reason could *cause* a disaster.

Except this bunch is apparently incapable of getting it right. I agree that a well done Legion show would be cool but I don’t have high hopes.

If they’re following presidential succession it would be the Vice President, then the House Speaker. Lockwood is pretty far down and I don’t think the President can be appointed.

I picked up on it. I simply hadn't gotten around to mentioning it.

It should have been a fairly simple matter to deflect the beam to strike somewhere in the Atlantic where it was unlikely to do more than kill a few fish but then we wouldn’t get the visual of it nearly hitting the White House.

If “batshit crazy” is a reference to the President then yeah, I’m wondering what his deal is too. Perhaps he’s "just" a total xenophobe or maybe there’s something else going on.

Unfortunately, you're right about J'onn. Jim Starlin once referred to Superman as a pacifist who never got the chance.
