I'm a colts fan and I think it might be fair to say that New England had the worst injury luck of all four teams this weekend. Add that to picks and signings that just didn't work out, and I'm not surprised a lot of their fans think they were lucky to make it this far. They're almost gracious in defeat .....

Bronco fan here.

The Tom Brady dynasty is based on 3 FGs and a weak-ass AFC East division.

So - who's better than Belichick?

Yeah, the thing is...that sentiment (Fire Bellycheck!) is what you get from the typical mongo calling in to Sports Talk Radio.

When do we call Brady a choker? I mean, that's what people would have said of Manning. Brady can no longer win the big game. What a choker.

I would highly recommend playing the original Fable and Fable 2. Fable 3 was by far the worst game in the series, so you just chose the wrong place in the series to start playing.

I'm just going to point out that Fable 3 was by far the worst game in the series. In Fable II, my character got so fat that I unlocked the title of "Salad Dodger". That alone makes it worth playing. Please, Mr. Divinity, please. Play Fable II.

This is pretty retarded, even for Deadspin commenters. NE had a boat-load of injuries this year, not to mention a TE awaiting murder charges. BB probably did his best coaching job in many seasons, and the team basically overachieved.

Now for the Bill Simmons column where he bemoans the agony of not winning a Super Bowl for nine whole years followed by his "3'oclock start corollary" where he drones on for 1500 words about another one of his asinine superstitions followed by another 2000 words about how Tom Brady's decline corresponds exactly to

There's nothing remotely close to supplanting the NFL specifically or football in general. In fact, I'd say — even without checking TV ratings or anything — that the gap between football and any other sport is probably widening.

I was really hoping this would be Winterfell's year.

An NFL game played without helmets or pads would result in death. That's something that non Americans don't seem to get. It's not about being "tough", it's the difference between life and death.

The armor is what make such high impact blows survivable at times.

Aye, you're too right. I grew up in South East Asia, Singapore, and I only learned that American Football exists from Archie comics (age 5), and some of the rules and gameplay from the Eyeshield 21 manga (age 21).

I've heard people call it that here in the US as well. There are idiots everwhere.

2/10. Would not bang

Since your boy claimed that George's in game 360 dunk is a once in a lifetime event, I think pickledgravy has a point. I don't agree with the "Meh" though. It was a great dunk.

Oh, this only looks impressive because he's doing it in a manner that is far harder and more aesthetically pleasing than the normal, also difficult and aesthetically pleasing way. One of the greatest in-game dunkers of all time used to do something similar—though infrequently—from time to time.

Indeed.

Ugh. I'm just going to start thinking of racists as the Messiah character from Preacher. "Humperdido!"
